Zinaida Zhefarovich was in a chipper mood today. Which wasn't unusual for the young Hufflepuff, she was fairly easygoing for the most part. Though she had her days where she was far from pleasant. But she felt like her brother was usually the cause for that. As much as Zinaida loved her twin brother Vladimir, he could be a real pain sometimes. Especially with the new friends he had made. Zinaida had seen some of the things that those three had said and done together, and it drove Zinaida up a wall. She was born a Zhefarovich, who were known well for their cruelty against those who weren't pure bloods, but that didn't mean she liked the way they lived. Zinaida would follow the rules either way because she didn't want to end up being killed because she wanted to be idealistic, but she had to admit to herself that she hated the laws and she hated seeing her brother treat people the way he so often did. One of his favorites in particular seemed to be some Gryffindor girl, and Zinaida worried that it could come to bite him later. Silently, Zinaida headed into the student lounge and instantly spotted a comfortable looking seat. This seat was going to be hers! Zinaida flew forward and practically pounced on the seat.

"I have got to take one of these chairs home!" What was it with Hogwarts and having comfortable seats? Did they purposely picked out the world's most comfortable chairs? Did they have no intention of letting their students ever be able to get out of them? Zinaida had every intention of taking one of them home before she Graduated. There was a chair tucked away in the Hufflepuff Common Room, that one was her favorite. After a few moments, Zinaida notices another girl from her house was also in the lounge. "Hello!" Zinaida greeted hoping that she would be able to get the girl's attention long enough to try and strike up a conversation.

Clara had her hair in a messy braid, and a hat on her head. A hat. She wasn't sure what kind of evil force compelled her to put the hat on, but she was sure she must have been in a half-dream state, where she thought she was cool and quirky enough to pull it off. Now, sitting in the Student Lounge, Clara picked on the ends of her hair, feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Clara had thought about taking it off, but then she'd have hat hair! Clara couldn't believe she was paying so much attention to her appearance, but what would people think of her if she looked like a loony?
Clara sat, legs up on her sofa seat and to one side, biting her lip, her fingers still picking on her hair. She was unsure what she should do. Perhaps she should just call it a "I tried" day and head back to bed? Clara nodded her head slightly to herself, sure that this was the answer. However, as she had placed her hand down on the arm of the sofa to push herself up, Clara heard a greeting close to her. Surely, it couldn't be for her? She had barely met anyone in the castle yet. But as she looked around, the young blonde saw a girl from her house, and she seemed to be greeting her. Clara froze in her spot, her arm in an uncomfortable position, but she managed to smile at the girl. "Hey, uh, sorry, am I in your spot?" Clara asked nervously, unsure why the girl had spoken to her.
