Kylie had been so touched when her best friend's sweet little brother had asked her to the Valentine's Dance that she could hardly deny him. Especially as he seemed to be getting more confident, something the Ravenlaw was always happy to see in people. She had very little time to get ready as she snuck in a cat nap after everything with the floral deliveries were sorted but had luckily laid out her nicest and most conservative dress already so there would be no outfit worries. All she had to do was fluff her hair up a little and do her makeup which she quickly did before she left for the great hall where she and Flavio had agreed to meet. Somehow she had arrived earlier than the first year and managed a quiet yawn into her manicured hand, not able to pretend that she wasn't still very sleepy. Still Kylie was excited to give Flavio a fun time at the valentine's dance.

Asking Kylie to the Valentine's dance was not something Flavio saw himself doing, but he'd been gifted with feelings of confidence and admiration after receiving her rose earlier on in the day. In the midst of those feelings he had somehow managed to ask Kylie to the dance and she accepted, more to his surprise than anyone else's. Flavio believed Kylie was too kind and pretty to spend a night dancing with him in front of other students that were sure to judge them but somehow they were each other's dates in spite of it all. Flavio was as excited for the night as he was anxious to how it would play out. When he was ready, wearing his only suit that was oversized and still somehow smelled of his older brother, he ran to the entrance of the great hall where he'd organized to meet with his Kylie. His eyes found her almost immediately. As he walked up to her he smiled, moving in to give her a hug when he was close enough. "I'm so glad we're going to this dance together!" He said after pulling away. He then took her hand in his own and lead her into the hall so they could celebrate what had been a lovely valentine's day.

Kylie's lips spread into a large smile when Flavio gave her a hug. She bent over slightly to return it and couldn't help but think he smelled really good and somehow familiar. As he told her of his excitement, the Ravenclaw knew she had made the right choice in accompanying Flavio to the ball. If not for pushing Pia closer to a certain Ravenclaw, then to make the little one she had on her hand happy. "Me too, Flavio!" Kylie said as she walked with the boy into the Great Hall. "What do you want to do first, bambino?" She only wanted to do what would make Flavio comfortable and happy, if that meant being a wall-flower for the rest of the evening she was happy to do just that.

Flavio was unsure of what he wanted to do first. They had so many options to make this night memorable for the rest of their lives. This was their first date after all and Flavio wanted it to be an amazing end to an amazing day. He blushed as she referred to him as bambino, shaking his head in response to her question as he looked around the room. Immediately the snacks table stood out to him. "We could get drinks and then dance together, maybe?" He suggested, blushing a darker shade of red as he spoke because dancing with Kylie would be both fun and memorable. It would surely cause more butterflies to appear in his stomach than holding her hand did, which was saying a lot.

Kylie knew Flavio was shy so she immediately felt bad for making him feel uncomfortable for using a pet name with him. He just reminded her so much of a sweet little baby that she could hardly help it. When he suggested what they did she nodded her head and added in Spanish, "That's perfect." The girl wanted only to encourage him as she would want to encourage any other young student in becoming more comfortable with themselves and their surroundings. Except with Flavio, she was a bit more keen on it because she loved his sister as her own.
