Jennifer sneezed. 'Darn flowers', she spat, but felt no anger inside. After all, they were only roses. Jenny sighed. Roses were a symbol of love, weren't they? So why did she have no inspiration for the romantic novel she was attempting to write? She place her pen down as a paperweight and heaved herself up. She stretched out her fingers, trying to wake them up. She wasn't sure quite how long she had spent trying to find idea's for her book, but it was just about to start getting dark, so she guessed more than a couple of hours. The cramp in her fingers persisted, and Jenny was about to pick up her notebook when she spotted a figure moving about. The rose bush was a popular place, Jenny had been particularily lucky not to have come across anybody in two hours. As the figure headed towards her, she gave her a smile. It was definately a girl, and a young one too, like herself. Jenny relaxed a little.
There was no point leaving just yet, the many letters her mother had sent her threatening to leave her at Hogwarts (which she wanted anyway) for Christmas if she didn't make friends was still imprinted in her mind. Her mother was such a nag, and Jenny would have been more willing to make friends if she'd threatened to take her home for Christmas.
By now, the girl was only a few feet away, and Jenny had no option but to sit down and wait. She picked up her notebook and pretended to write, not wanting to be seen lazing around on her day off. She should have been doing homework really, but it was boring, and Jenny was known for being a bit of a rebel.
