Ugh. Brightstone Weekend. Was Leah's first thought as she seated herself on the park bench. She had managed to secure some privacy at the park, but young children would still randomly run through the park, much to her annoyance. She could do nothing however, it was a public park and even she found crucioing a child to be....somewhat cruel. With the last thought she had to smirk, since becoming more immersed in the dark arts her way of thinking had changed drastically, but she still had time for a private joke in her mind.
It was a sunny day, very cool with a slight breeze going through the park. This was why she enjoyed coming here, it was so beautiful on days like this and she had time to think. Being cooped up in the apartment was completely boring, and since she was still only training she was not trusted with a lot of important things as of yet. She was grateful to have finally secured a job at The Silver Snake. It would be a tough and dangerous job, but she would be making galleons and would be able to afford more things for Ashton and herself.
That was another thing on her mind...Ashton. He probably figured she did not care for him. Foolish. She did care for him, he was her brother after all. Half brother. She mentally corrected herself. She did have some sort of affection for him, and he did manage to stay out of her way for the most part. She still kept her identity secret from him. She did not trust him enough to tell him she was a Death Eater, and she doubted she ever would trust him enough for that.
