November can be stubborn and direct but sweet when she wants to be. She usually knows exactly what she wants and will do what she needs to to get it. To her friends, she is caring and compassionate--to any enemies she may make, she can be cold. Her mother doted on her growing up and her two younger sisters have always looked up to her so she is used to being the center of attention.
History:
Both of November’s parents are magical and graduated from Hogwarts in Great Britain, before moving to New Zealand to start a family. The Adelars are a well-known and well-off Wizarding family, coming from old money. The patriarch works for St. Mungo’s while November's mother is focused on raising and teaching her three young girls, of which November is the eldest. November believes that her upbringing was perfect and denies the claims of some that she might be a bit spoiled. She has never been to school before or interacted much with other kids outside of her family—outside of the fancy dinner parties her parents sometimes threw for magical guests. Even though November grew up secluded, she can’t imagine growing up any other way, and doesn't understand how some kids can grow up without magic. After all, magic is her whole world--she loves flying, making up potions, pretending to be different magical creatures, and learning spells, even if she can’t use them yet. How, she wonders, could anyone possibly hope to succeed in the Wizarding World if they don’t know the first thing about it? November would like to believe that she thinks of every witch and wizard as equal regardless of their upbringing, but there may be a teensy little bias hidden somewhere in her subconscious.
At school, November hopes to finally make friends, join the Quidditch team early, learn more spells than anyone else, master potionmaking, and eventually fall in love, just like her mother did in her school days. She hasn’t quite decided if she wants to pursue a career or be a socialite homemaker like her mother, but she knows she has a bit of time to decide on that one. Some might be nervous to start school for the first time, but November has nothing but confidence that things are going to go her way.
