The gardens at Beauxbatons were always such a beautiful site, especially after a few months away. Orélie had posted up on the lip of one of the fountains, propped on her elbows and lounging decadently with a pair of sunglasses, catching the tail end of the Summer sunshine she could. She'd spent part of the holidays visiting her father's family in New Orleans and had forgotten how dreadful the humidity was there. Being back at school may not be the most thrilling thing, but at least the air here didn't have the consistency of hot soup. The first few weeks back were always a whirlwind of catching up and gossip and Orélie was frankly enjoying some peace and quiet outside for once, taking the time to put some thoughts towards what they should get up to this year. They'd been talking about throwing a party for Halloween, and Nadine had been bugging them about joining the Quidditch team again. If she wasn't careful her whole year would get swallowed up and it'd be Christmas break in no time. But for the time being, Orélie was going to enjoy some me time, stretching out more to enjoy the warm stone on the lip of the fountain, idly watching some of the other students wander past.

Beauxbatons would not be exchanged for any school in the world because it had become a second home. Katherine could only stay here forever, but she would have to return to the shelter again because they were the only ones she knew. But now she didn't want to think about the place. She slipped out of the noisy tower and walked out into the garden. The Beauxbatons Garden was a place where you could hide so no one could find you. This is exactly what Katherine wanted to hide. Become invisible for a while. As she passed one of the fountains, she felt a chain slip from her hand, which she always carried around her hand. At the end of it was an ivy petal, the only thing she had left of her parents. '' Oh, no .. '' she cried out loudly and looked over the edge of the fountain to see where the bracelet had fallen. Unless Katherine saw exactly where she fell. She heard only a small slap.

While Orélie was certainly feeling glamorous and chic, lounging with her sunglasses on, it was getting a little boring. She was just mulling over whether she was ready to head back to her room and tackle more reunion time with the bonsquad when there was a small yell near the fountain. Tilting her sunglasses down after the sudden commotion, Orélie looked up to see Katherine looking particularly distraught as she leant over the fountain. While it would certainly be more exciting, it seemed a bit early for any dramatic school based meltdowns, so Orélie figured Katherine had probably dropped something in the fountain by mistake. "Katherine, oh no, what's wrong? Did you lose something?" She asked, moving over to peer into the water where Katherine was, driven more by curiosity than real concern at the moment.

Katherine couldn't lose her only memory from her parents. The gaze explored the water, but saw nothing, so he leaned over the fountain to see its bottom. She now began to curse herself internally when she needed to put on a bracelet. Her gaze explored the bottom of the fountain as she heard Orélie's voice and Katherine lifted her gaze. '' Yes, I just lost a very precious thing to myself. She fell in the water. '' She replied to Orélie as Katherine felt close to the tears. Often she did not cry, but now seemed to start crying.

"Oh no," Orélie said, immediately pulling out her wand. It broke her heart a little to see Katherine so upset, and Orélie quickly moved closer to Katherine when she saw the beginning of tears in her eyes, tucking her sunglasses into her hair. "What was it, we can probably summon it out of the water, it'll be fine," She said, resting a hand gently on Katherine's arm in comfort. What ever she'd dropped was clearly important and Orélie squinted at the bright water of the fountain to see if she could spot anything.

'' It was silver. I try to see exactly where it fell so I can try to call it out of the water. " she said, looking at Orélie, pleased that she was helping. Katherine could hardly find one, because one would take a long time to see her. '' Orélie, thank you for helping. It's the only thing left of my parents. '' Katherine refused, then noticed a glare in the water. '' There .. it feels like it is there. '' a loud sound on her lips and Katherine's hand pointed to the spot where she had just seen the glare.

Orélie peered into the fountain as far as she dared as Katherine described what she'd dropped. Something from her parents sounded pretty important. Orélie wasn't totally sure about Katherine's home situation, but it sounded a bit sad from the way she'd phrased it. Making a note to actually try and find more about some of her schoolmates in future, Orélie leveled her wand when she spotted a glimmering silver bracelet in the water. "Accio, bracelet," She said, catching the bracelet as it lept from the fountain. "You know, they say the fountain water makes you beautiful, so maybe it's not so bad to get it a little wet," Orélie said gently, taking Katherine's wrist and wrapping the bracelet back around it. "There, all set." She said, taking a step back to smile at Katherine once the clasp was done back up, hoping Katherine might calm down a bit, it really broke her heart to see the other girl so sad.

Katherine wanted to shout that Orélie wouldn't jump in the fountain so she would stay wet. Yes the bracelet was important, but not so important as to make Orélie fall ill. Of course, the foster parents would provide another piece of jewelry, but it would not. Katherine watched the other girl as she was trying to find a stubborn chain in the water. And then Orélie found it. '' Yes, it has become more beautiful than before. '' Katherine said while Orélie put a cuff on her wrist. '' Thank you, Orélie. that helped to find it. '' , she said, then took a step forward and hugged the girl. Now Katherine's heart really calmed down, but she didn't know how Orélie would react to her sudden embrace, then she let go of the girl. '' Don't you want to join me for a walk in the garden? '' the girl asked Orélie because she was probably not expecting a refusal.

Orélie smiled when Katherine seemed soothed by having her bracelet back. "Good, you two match," She said lightly, resisting the weird urge to boop Katherine on the nose or something. "It's a gorgeous bracelet though.. You said your parents gave it to you?" Orélie didn't want to pry into Katherine's business, except that she really did, and clearly the bracelet was important to her. There weren't many things that would make Orélie completely lose her head about if she dropped them, and rooming with the bonsquad meant she couldn't be too attached to her possessions anyway, since there was a 50/50 chance one of the girls would 'borrow' something at any given moment.

Orélie returned the hug, awkwardly at first, giving Katherine a little pat, before relaxing a little, squeezing Katherine tighter before letting go and stepping back, brushing her braids back over her shoulder. "Ah, yeah, don't worry about it, hun. No trouble," She said, forcing her hands to hang normally at her sides. "A walk sounds nice," She said, fixing her sunglasses back on the top of her head before offering Katherine her arm. "Shall we, then?"

Katherine also smiled because Orel evaluated the heart. She felt strangely around the girl because no one had ever felt like her before. '' Yes, it is .. That parents gave it to me before disappearing. '' Katherine rarely clung to a file, but the associated memory was painful, but possible Orel could be the person with whom to share to and then we will see how it will be. It couldn't be discovered right away, because I don't really know or know for sure what really happened.

Katherine accepted the hand offered by the girl, putting her hand in her hand. '' Then let's go. Where do you want to go in the beginning? There is a special place in the garden that you like. '' She asked, looking into Orélie eyes.
