Giselle’s bright smile never left her face as she walked down the cobbled streets of Brighstone Village, one hands enveloped in her brother Aiden’s hand and the other around the ice cream that her big brother had just bought her. Giselle loved that she had gotten to spend the day with her big brother, she loved him so much and hated when he was always away. Although now that he had moved back to New Zealand to go to school she got to see him more often like now during the Brightstone Weekends when he got off school for a bit. Giselle was giggling at something that Aiden had said, he always made her giggle by doing or saying funny things or picking her up and tickling her or giving her piggy backs. She may be 10 now and turning 11 in a short while but she was never too old to play about with her brother and she hoped that her brother would never be too old to play with her because she had too much fun with him.

The two went to the Park and sat and ate their ice creams as Aiden talked about school and the people there. Giselle was excited about started Hogwarts in a few months she was so glad that would get to see Aiden everyday whenever she wanted without having to wait weeks on end to see him. She also nervous about starting Hogwarts, it meant that she was off to the big school now with all the bigger boys and girls and Giselle had yet to really have a growth spurt so she was still relatively small for a girl of her age. As Giselle finished off her ice cream she smiled up at Aiden who seemed to be distracted. When he told her that he saw a friend and would be back in a bit Giselle frowned slightly because Aiden looked like her was going to talk to another girl. Aiden always told Giselle that she was his favourite little girl so why was her leaving her to go talk to someone else? Crossing her arms over her chest she began to pout as she knew that Aiden liked talking to girls more and boys so he might not be coming back to her anytime soon.

With one of Bradley Dean Skeffington's biggest day in his ten years of existence coming up in just a matter of time, two members from the Skeffington family could be found roaming the streets of Brightstone Village on a casual afternoon. After receiving both an acceptance letter and supply list from Hogwarts, the wizarding institute that Bradley would be attending in due time, Bradley and his mother, Karen, spent a lot of their time discussing and shopping for all things Hogwarts. This made Bradley quite exhausted by the end of the day, but he certainly did enjoy every waking moment of it, especially since he got to spend more time with his mum before departing for several weeks at a time.

After spending most of the day shopping, Bradley was let lose from his mother's protective eye by being allowed to play at a neighboring park for about thirty minutes while Karen took care of some tedious things that Bradley took no interest in. As the boy wandered about the park all on his own, feeling a great sense of pride to not have his mother standing right beside him with every step that he took, Bradley felt his curious side taking over. Out of the corner of his eye, the soon-to-be eleven year-old noticed a clearly upset girl sitting along on one of the benches. Curiously, Bradley slowly walked over and stood in front of the girl.

"You don't look very happy, is there anything I could do to make you feel better?" The least Bradley could do was ask, even if she did refuse the stranger's polite request.

Giselle’s crystal blue eyes kept jumping back and forth from a spot on the ground in front of her to where he brother currently was. He was talking to some blonde girl, Giselle didn’t know who she was. This upset Giselle a lot, she always thought that she was Aiden’s favourite girl and that no one would ever replace her but as she got older Aiden probably didn’t see her like that anymore. Giselle felt as if she was about to cry, this was her worst nightmare come true. What she going to do without her big brother? He was always the one there for her to make her laugh when she was sad, wipe her tears when she cried, picked her up when she fell, he was her rock and he was slowly starting to deteriorate. While Giselle was nothing but sweet and kindness most of the time she was quite stubborn so she wasn’t going to shed a tear over her brother and just sit there huffing until he came back and if he didn’t she would tell her daddy on him and she knew that he would get into trouble. Not that Aiden would ever forget about Giselle, but he won’t go back for her until he was less occupied and either Aiden got fed up with the girl soon enough and he left them alone or visa versa.

Giselle’s eyes darted back to where he brother stood once more and let out a defeated sigh as she let her arms fall to her side and rest on the bench that she was currently sitting on, her face downcast. When her eyes focused again she saw a pair of shoes just in front of her and she heard an unfamiliar boys voice asked her a question. Looking up her eyes gazed at the boy in front of her. She had never seen this boy before but Giselle had never really taken any notice of the rule about not talking to strangers, plus how dangerous could a boy around her age really be? “Make my brother stop talking to other girls. I’m his favourite, no one else.” she said in her sad, yet stroppy voice.
