It was yet another year of spookiness and thrills for the still young Hufflepuff student, Ai Edogawa. It was her first time to actually participate in the castle's feast during Halloween. Of course, being a Third Year, one would expect that she had already attended at least during her first year. But as far as she could remember, she only dressed up during that time of the year and really didn't participate in the joys the feast had to offer. Of course, this year was different. She really wanted to enjoy her stay this time and was really up for the fun the Halloween time would have to offer.
This year, Ai had tried her best to look even just a bit spooky. She tried to be a vampire, "Not so good," she thought as she imagined herself a few days ago. She also thought that being a mummy was good, "Nuh-uh. Won't be able to breathe," she contradicted herself. And after a few more imaginations, she decided on being a ghost lady or white lady instead. She really didn't have to spend much on the costume. She only had to dressed in all white, powder herself a bit on the arms to make herself look pale and surely, put her long hair into use. She had placed it in front of her face, just enough that she can still see right through, and she even made sure that it looked a bit messy. And the last bits of her costume were bits of creepy crawlies. Toys, of course. Ai wasn't really one to handle the real things. She had a few on her hair and a few on her long dress. And when all was done, she made her way bare-footed into the Great Hall.
The Great Hall had so much to offer indeed during this time of the year. And she was sure glad she came. She had approached a few tables and looked at the delicacies presented nicely. She had to admit that they looked not only edible, but absolutely delicious as well, and she can't help but try them on later. She took a few more walks and tried to look around. There were quite a few familiar people, but of course, Ai was not one to start a conversation immediately. She scanned the area, looking for more familiar faces present.
