Open Not A Usual Thing

Valencia didn't usually attend the Yule Ball, but she guessed she had a change of mind this time around. The girl didn't really have many friends around, and she definitely wanted to try and change that. She had hoped that she didn't dress up too fancy for the event but not too casual either. The Ravenclaw girl slowly made her way inside into the Great Hall, having second thoughts about even attending the event tonight. She looked around with amazement, seeing a few familiar faces around, but decided to make her way towards the Yule tree, and looked at it with a small smile, before looking towards the gifts that were underneath the tree, deciding if she wanted to collect a gift or not.

Sky was wandering around the hall. the ball was fun. people were in bright colourful clothes and the musig was soft and gentle and the decorations were glittering it felt like the world was sparkling. she paused by the big tree and looked out over the room before turning towards the tree. there was a girl standing there. she was older than her but not by too much and she was also on her own. "it's beautiful. and so are you" she said first referring to the decorations and the tree and then the girl. the large pine tree wasn't like the trees at home. at least not the Christmas trees. but there was something about the cool blues and whites that had the same taste as the forests back home.

Valencia jumps a little when she heard a voice, being a little too memorised with the beautiful Christmas tree to notice there was a girl nearby. "Oh thank you," Valencia says, with a small smile. "You are too," The Ravenclaw says, as she returns the compliment. The girl had been a bit younger than her. Though She hadn't seen the girl before from anywhere. "You enjoying it so far?"
