When Daisuke found out that Jean Lancaster-Snow was a Slytherin, he'd figured out pretty quickly that that was going to be the delivery he didn't like the most. It meant going into Slytherin territory - his brother's territory. He really didn't want to go to the Slytherin Table, that was one area he tried to religiously avoid since entering Hogwarts because the less time he spent with his brother, the better. Still, he really had no choice because the Great Hall - the Slytherin Table was one of the easiest places to find Slytherins. "Is Jean Lancaster-Snow here yet?" he asked, looking around though more guarding against his brother's presence than looking for an unknown older boy.

Jean Lancaster-Snow walked to the Slytherin house table to hear someone asking for him. He hoped that it was a rose. A pink one, like he sent to Apolline. He truly liked her. He approached the Hufflepuff, "Hey, I'm Jean."​

It was a relief to see that Hachiro was not in the immediate vicinity. Not wanting to chance it however, he quickly held a pink rose with its attached note to the older student. "D-Delivery."​

It was a pink rose, and there was a note. Jean received it almost cautiously as he read it, and smiled. He knew that she liked him now. Right? He shifted his attention to the guy that delivered it. "Thank you." Jean could not hide how happy he seemed.​
