Eden had just arrived to New Zealand after being away for almost three weeks, she had headed off to New York for her job and after finishing the runways, she was back in New Zealand. Enjoying all the spotlight that she got after this successful trip. However, it was also really exhausting, so in the following day after the travel, she had decided to take a full day off of studies and job. She was just 19, why would she be sitting home all the time?

It had been more than an hour of her dancing at some local muggle club that she had quite enjoyed before, and after that long time of dancing, she was honestly thirsty, so she took a seat at the bar and simply told the bartender what beverage she wanted.

As far as packing up and running away went Caden figured New Zealand was as far away from both school and his parents as he possibly could. He didn't think the school would care much that he was gone or notice soon enough. For a school as prestigious as the one he had been enrolled in, after his parents had obviously pulled some strings with whichever one of their acquaintances, he was only a number after all. Should he graduate and become somebody then yes, he would be someone. But he didn't plan on graduating anytime soon. Especially not now he was literally worlds away. It did make him wonder how long it would take his parents to realize he had left. The most likely scenario was at the beginning of the next schoolyear when they'd mindlessly transfer his fees only to be told by any member of staff that he had dropped out. Or perhaps he would text his mom before that happened, or when his money ran out, he was still undecided on that matter.

After having made contact with some locals Caden had been invited to a club not too far from his hotel, an invitation he had happily accepted. And so here he was, in the middle of the dancefloor with some kids he had only known for a day. Not that he cared. That was the beauty of it all. They were fun so far and if they turned out not to be he'd easily find his own way around. Having promised them another round he made his way up to the bar, placing his order before leaning against the bar and casually offering the attractive blonde next to him a nod hello.

Eden got her drink and played around with her glass and lightly flirted with the bartender. Not like she was attracted to him, yeah, she totally wasn't attracted but while she was at the bar, she totally could use some more attention. And the man seemed to have seen her before in some magazines or somewhere. However, another man approached her night's target and he left her to get the man's order done, and Eden just gave the nod back, understanding that this boy was way cuter than the bartender. She smiled at someone who just passed by and tried to come up with how to get the attention correctly. After the plan came up, she tried to come up with how to get rid off her drink and the help came as someone managed to hit her lightly and it was enough for her to automatically spill the drink out. Now she needed to get a refill. "Could you help me to get that bartender's attention?" she asked him sweetly and pointed at one of the bartenders that was a bit more far away from them since their one was occupied. And also, it was hopefully a good way to start the conversation. She didn't have a really loud voice anyway so she would still need help with it.

Caden hung back against the bar, casually holding up a hand to acknowledge he was coming when the people he had come to the club with where looking at him. He turned around when the bartender placed his drinks in front of him and handed over the money he owed, taking a second to figure out how he was going to take them all back to the group. Deciding he wasn't going to manage he waved one of the others over just as the blonde spoke to him. "I doubt you have much trouble getting a man's attention." He responded, giving her a once over. She was pretty and since she was talking to him it'd be rude for him to leave. Rude and stupid. Caden handed the drinks over to two of the guys from the group and casually told them he was a little busy at the moment before turning his attention back to the girl. "But if you insist.." He shrugged coolly, trying his best to make eye contact with the bartender so he could motion him over. It took a minute, but eventually he managed and grinned smugly at the girl when the man made his way back over. "There you go, princess."

Eden lightly smiled to herself when she noticed the british accent in his voice, she loved the accent. At his comment, she laughed and gave a light flirty smile to him, well, she wasn't going to skip her chance to flirt with a pretty boy, especially a british one. She really liked british boys. And she was even happier when he told his friends to wait, he was gonna stay here with her. When he got her a bartender's attention, she easily answered to what he said before. "You're right, I don't have a trouble getting attention, I just needed a reason to start a conversation with you," she chuckled and then easily ordered a new cocktail. "Thank you," Eden turned towards him after ordering. "I'm Eden, by the way"
