Phoebe had been back at Illvermorny for around a month now, and the blonde was getting to classes better. It was also wonderful to be spending time with Rudolf once more. She almost felt inseparable from the brunette. It was a stark comparison from when they had first met and she was thwacking his shin with her cane because she wasn't able to make sense of the boy talking to her. The blonde leaned back in her chair, fingers feeling over the braille of her History book, wondering if Rudolf would be out of class soon. She preferred to be around him lately than his brother. After all she didn't want to make him feel bad for being single, since she'd come strictly to be with his brother. Phoebe flipped the page of her book forward, then back. She'd been feeling the bumps but not processing the information. She'd never pass her classes this way. Perhaps she was just burned out on studying. Phoebe stood from her seat in the library and made her way toward the exit, her cane tapping on the floor a little louder than a pencils tapping a table in class. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd learned Hogwarts as fast as she was learning Illvermorny. However perhaps she was just better with the cane. After all when she'd attended Hogwarts her first year she'd only been using a magical cane for a few months.

The blonde made her way out the doors into the halls but stopped short. The dorms, they couldn't be too far. She remember they were a left, or maybe a right? Phoebe stood trying not to panic at the idea that she might not remember where she was supposed to sleep - though she knew if she stood there much longer people may look at her strangely. Not the Phoebe would notice. Though if they whispered she might get a good grasp on what they were saying about her and get angry. She wasn't great at aiming hexes but she would sure try if someone wanted to say something. Phoebe thought about that a little longer than she should have, and remained stood in the same spot right outside the library's entrance, frustrated at a scenario that wasn't even happening.

Fifth year was not really agreeing with Jeong. He was a very bright student, but because he didn't want to put much (or any) effort into his studying, it wasn't really showing. For some reason, the teachers seemed to think fifth year was more important than any of the ones before it, and they kept hammering on them doing their homework. Maybe if they wanted more students to do it, Jeong mused as he walked through the halls of Ilvermorny, they should make it more interesting and fun.

Jeong much preferred daydreaming or socialising to anything school related, so as usual he was looking for any distraction from his least favorite activity at school. Jeong didn't have a specific group of friends he spent most of his time with, but instead drifted from one group to the next without much trouble. Because of this, he knew pretty much everyone around his age at the school, at least on sight. So he stopped short when he saw a blond girl he definitely hadn't seen before. Not just because her face was unfamiliar, but he knew for sure he had never seen anyone with a cane like hers. Was she blind? He wondered if that would be rude to ask. He probably would anyway, as it was the only way to find out. He made his way over to her, waving before realising that probably wasn't doing him much good. "Excuse me, miss? Are you new here?" He asked her cheerfully.

Phoebe could hear any footsteps around her, but specifically she could hear some coming towards her. She should have kept moving and saved her the embarrassment of being caught red handed having no idea where she was going. Finally the footsteps came to a stop, but Phoebe did not move her head. Typically she only moved her head when talking to Rudolf as she felt somewhere in her head she was actually looking st him. Strangers - not so much. Phoebe nodded. "Yes. I just transferred this semester..." she tapped her cane and moved forward slightly. Should she admit she was lost. At this point there was no harm in it was there? "I'm trying to find my dorm..." she trailed off. "Oh. I'm a Wampus. You wouldn't happen to know the dorms?" Phoebe felt her Italian accent was strange here. Rudolf didn't have that accent. He was American. Were most students here America ?

Jeong had never met a blind person before, and thought the way she didn't move her head to talk to him was interesting. Of course she wouldn't have to look in his direction, as there was no reason for her to. He looked at her cane curiously, wondering how it worked. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jeong." He said when she said she had just transferred here. "Where are you from? Your accent sounds funny." Jeong himself had been born in America, so he couldn't pinpoint the girl's accent aside from 'European.' He grimaced a little when she asked how to find the Wampus dorms. He himself was in a different house, but he had friends in all houses and knew vaguely where it was. "Okay, so I'm not in Wampus so I'm not entirely hundred percent completely sure," he started. "BUT, I can help you out. I at least know in which direction to go, and once we head there I'm sure I'll run into some of my friends from that house and they can help. Sound good?" He grinned at her, even though he knew she couldn't see it. Maybe she could hear it in his tone? He hoped she wasn't too scared, now that Jeong was on the case, he was sure he would help her out.

Phoebe wondered if the man was extending a hand to her, like some people had, but only to realize she couldn't shake it. She would never know though unless he said something. "Oh... I hope a good funny?" She inquired, feeling the reaction was a little rude. "I'm from Italy." She responded with a reserved smile on her lips. Phoebe nodded at what he offered to her. "I would enjoy that. I'm not usually so careless as to get lost in new places, but I had been a little distracted." She wasn't going to admit with what she'd been distracted of, because it wasn't of relevance. She continued to smile for a short period of time, before asking. "What year are you currently in? I'm sixth." She offered in return, not wanting to seem rude. Phoebe heard when the feet of other students tapped the floor, so in order to follow this student it would be best to keep him talking so he was easier to locate.

Jeong could kick himself when the girl asked if he meant good funny, he had, but only now did he realize that was sort of a rude thing to say about someone's accent. "I do mean good! Like, it's pretty awesome actually. I didn't mean to be insulting at all, sorry." He said apologetically. He started to walk in the right direction, though at a slower pace than usual. "Okay, so this way." He said, lightly touching her arm to indicate where he meant. "I think it's not that odd you get lost,I can see and I still got lost a lot in my first year. But I'm pretty careless in most things in life." He said, a small smile on his lips. He figured talking to her was the best way for her to follow him, so he happily chattered on. "I'm in fifth year, how is sixth so far? I am not all that thrilled about fifth. Too much work, if you ask me." He said conversationally. "Kinda sick of all the talk about OWLs."
