New friend

Andrew had started noticing the fact that although Jake was his best friend and they tried to share every bit of secret but it didn't seem to work out that well. He took it that this was because of an age difference of two years. Andrew was very different at the age of twelve than now when he is fourteen.

Andrew had also realized that he didn't have other friends apart from Jake when it came to the same gender. Girls were like bees buzzing around Andrew, not that he wanted it that way but believe it or not Andrew thought it was high time he got a guy friend of his age.

The school boys, like Mike had many friends so Andrew couldn't see a space for himself in there. When it came to the Ravenclaw lot, he had enemies in his own year so he was looking for someone who wasn't involved in all this house championship business because he wanted his new friend to be someone very close to him, with whom he wouldn't argue on house matters.

All this had been boiling his head for a week now so he decided to take a break and go to Brightstone village to see Mal. The store was having more and more customers and all the assistants were required to help. After helping for an hour or so he decided to have a walk in the village to enjoy the autumn winds.

Luke was out and about when he spotted a boy walking close to his age.

Andrew's eye was caught by a new boy whom he didn't recognize. "Hey there" he said with a friendly smile. "Are you new in this village?"he asked the boy. Remembering that he had forgotten his manners he put out his hand for a shake as he introduced himself. "I am Andrew Bruke"he said with a smile.
