Nerissa is a down to earth girl, very much as a nerd. She is also in tune with Nature; especially with plants....that could be due to her Welsh side; her mother was a Witch. She knows her stuff, but she is not a poser. She is also embarrassed about her intelligence, and tries not to let everyone know. Neriss is very friendly, caring, understanding. She is also helping and feels that she is an excellent tutor; but that all depends on the subject. Nerissa has a dry sense of humour and she likes to listen to British and European Muggle music. Her strongest Wizarding subjects are Herbology, Potions and History of Magic. Nerissa has a fear of heights and does not really fly on a broom. Nerissa is also a flirt, when it is needed. She may not dress like a girly girl, but she is deep in her heart.
Nerissa does have a few weaknesses, but they are mostly Muggle orientated - cars, Muggles and knitting. Here other weakness is flying, due to her fear she doesn't really fly much. She always uses the Floo Network so she is constantly cover in Floo power, she doesn't mind! Neirssa also wears too much Muggle clothes, and does spend a lot of Muggle money on Muggle clothes which she really does not need. Nerissa also wears glasses, but she is embarrassed so she wears Muggle contacts.

HISTORY
Born to a Muggle father and Witch mother, it was a warm and sunny when Nerissa entered into this world. Nerissa was born into a Muggle village and at this time, her parents did not knwo that was too a Witch, like her mother. Nessa did not realise that she was different to any of the other children in her village of LlanfairPG; until she reached the age of 11. Things become very different, as she became an older sister to her brother Tobias and a Witch. Her parents were proud and worried at the same time; they knew that Nerissa was different. She also received her Hogwarts Letter, at first she was confused as she did not know why she had received it. This was when her mother told her exactly what she was...
Nerissa's first year at Hogwarts was rather hard, as it was really the first time she had been away from home; also this was when her mother began to become ill, however she hid it from Nerissa and Tobias. There were many things that Nerissa took part during her first year, but she really knew that something was going on at home and she was constantly worried. She wrote home every week, hoping that something would be released but nothing happened...
Life changed for Nerissa and Tobias, as their mother died just before christmas in Nerissa's second year at Hogwarts. Nerissa was now the lady of the house, so she had to grow up pretty quick. However, she had to return to Hogwarts and continue with her education, as that she what her mother would have wanted her to do. Luckily her father found a good child minder for Tobias while to continued to work. Every holiday since that day, Nerissa has improved herself by studying at night and carrying for her brother in the day, now Nerissa is in her final year at Hogwarts and is hoping to become a Herbologist...
Completing all that Nerissa could do with the death of her mother still playing on her mind, she focussed on her studies. She passed with flying colours and went on to study at a local Muggle University; she studied on how to become a Librarian...as she loves books! However, Nerissa has missed the magical world...she wanted to be a part of it once again. After graduating, she decided to travel to New Zealand...and found Hogwarts NZ. She has been here over seven years now. Never went back to Britain
