Neita's swim

Neita walked along side the lake. She looked around and saw no one she knew.
She turned ran and dived into the lake. Neita loved the water.
She dived far under water, opening her eyes to look around and admire the underwater sceen.

 

[Storm]

Storm was sitting on a rock, fumbling with his necklace as usual, looking out for merfolk or students.
His gave went upon one such girl who had just dived into the water so Storm, excitedly, leapt off his rock and swam down over to her. "Another human, I'm so pleased, I was getting really bored down here." Storm said, circling the girl with interest.

Neita was holding her mouth underwater and looking around when she suddenly spotted a Merman nearby.
Neita was sooo shocked she screamed and had to surface to get more air.
She remembered Ares telling her he'd met a mermaid, but she'd never believed him.
She put her dived back underwater and tried to remember what ares had told her, he said the mermaid was able to hear him
when he spoke loudly near the surface of the water but he couldn't hear her unless he was under water.
Neita waved at the merman, then surfaced and spoke towards the water.
"Hi?" she asked more than said and she dove back underwater hoping for a reply.

 

[Storm]

"Wow, Some humans can't talk underwater." Storm said, more to himself then to her. "I'm Storm by the way." He continued, holding out his hand.

(( I'm not out of water? We're both underwater? I just commented on her not talking underwater, Plus even if they are outside the water they can hear Mermaids underwater. When Dumbledore died Harry could hear them singing under the water in the lake. ))

Neita was thrilled to her the Merman reply, Neita retuned to the surface and said very loudly towards the water "Im neita" before diving back under water Neita paused to glance around hoping no one thought she was crazy.
