Dypmna waited in a Bulganin cafe for the girl that had been taken from her so long ago. It was funny seeing as half the children that where a part of her loving house hold where not donated to her. The new girls where turning out better than she had expected but one of them was being very difficult. She wondered if it was time for Dympna to let her play with Zeal. She was fond of the boy and his little games.

Dympna pushed back a lock of black hair and waited for her. Even though she hadn't talked to her before coming she knew that she was going to come by. How she knew no one else would ever know. Dympna kept her ways to herself most of the time and even if the Children saw them sometimes they would never tell she had made sure of that. Recrossing her legs and sipping her tea she waited softly.

Veronica had come across a series of shocks in the past week. First of all, she had heard the news of her father's death due to some rare mysterious disease. She hadn't been allowed to go and see his grave since that would mean absence from Dumstrang which wouldn't be possible since she had no guardian permission. As if that shock wasn't enough she had another one where her headmaster told her that she would be leaving Dumstrang and her mother was coming to pick her.

She had million questions all of a sudden. Who was this mother? Where did she come from? Why was she here now? What did she want from her? She had been told to pack her bags and go meet her mother in a cafe in Bulgaria. She entered the cafe with her bags that had feather light spell on them thanks to her friends in seventh year.

She spotted the woman whose picture she had previously seen and went to sit on her table. She wasn't sure how to greet this lady who claimed to be her mother. She did have a temper and an attitude so she just sat there looking straight into the woman's eyes waiting for an explanation.

Dympna saw who she was sure to be one of her true offspring. They all had a certain air around them that told her that they where related to her. The father, well the father was taken care of that was all that mattered. When the beautiful blond sat at her table Dympna could not help but swoop over and give her a grate hug. "My girl, my dearest child I've found you at last." She said with a beautiful smile on her face that didn't quite reach her eyes. They remained cold with a bit of madness deep inside.

A man sniggered not too far a way and Dympna narrowed her eyes. Though it didn't seem like she did anything had come from Dympna the spoon that he had been using to stir his coffee now lifted up and shoved itself in the man's mouth. "How are you my darling?" She asked as if nothing was happening. The gagging sounds where nothing to a being like Dympna. That and her long lost daughter was infanitly more important than the life of some man.

Veronica watched the woman give her a big hug with a great smile, fake Veronica thought her face remaining expressionless. She had been taught by her father to always not reveal expressions or feelings to strangers and whoever knew her was very experienced of her mastery in this business. One could never predict what was going on in her head or read her face. Veronica paid no attention to the man or what happened to him.

When the woman asked her how she was Veronica decided it was time to speak, to stop this fakeness that was being put up. "I am not happy being asked to move out of my school and move in with someone, who just happens to be my mother, or claims to shall I say?" she begun her voice musical and soft like it had always been but there was an unmistakable sharpness behind the soft pitch. "Where have you been all these years? Why did you abandon me? If you cared?" she asked sipping her butterbeer that had actually been mixed with a little ammount of firewhiskey. That was her style of drinking butterbeer because butterbeer wasn't alcoholic and that wasn't fun at all.

There two things that made Dympna proud of the girl that shared her blood. One that she payed a little mind to the man that was now blue on the floor and the other was that she did not get taken in by her kindness right way. Dympna was skilled in getting people to do what she wanted but Veronica was different. If she was going to have great power someday she would have to learn to see through the masks that people wore. While waring her own of course. "I did not abandon you my dear, you where taken from me. Your father thought that I was a little... Unstable." She said as she florished her hand. Not soon after a waiter came with another cup of tea then scuttled off as sacred as a house elf.

While Dympna knew what was in Veronica's drink she would retirement on it. There was much deadlier in her own drink after all but none of that would kill her now. "I was looking for you for ages. You could not have imagined how crushed I was when I found you gone one day." She said closing her eyes solemnly. Dympna had in fact felt it when that man had taken Veronica. He had indeed been a powerful wizard to have hidden her from Dympna for such a long time but things never stayed hidden from her for long. A causality of her rage when she had finally gotten word of Veronica had been one of her male experiments. Dympna had remembered that one of the things that Veronica had been displeased about was her schooling. "If it has upset you that much you can go back. After seeing where you will be living now that your father has passed on." She said with a kind smile on her face.

Veronica heard the woman speak. She couldn't trust her although she would never know if she were really saying the truth or not. The story from her father's side had been a different one where her mother had abandoned them and her father couldn't bear the shame anymore so had moved to the mountains when she was a year old. "I can of course see that" she said referring to her mother's unstable character.

She took another sip of her drink as she decided what to ask next. None of it made any sense to her so she said "I would like a full explanation. How did you meet him? Did you marry my father? How...as you say did he steal me from you? Where were you all these years?" She was a little pleased when the woman said that she could continue with Dumstrang but if this woman was her mother than she decided to know more about her. To go to the woman's house and live there for a while before going back to Dumstrang. However she did not say all this yet. First she had to know the truth.
