Efeyenia Samartzi, glamorous as ever, could be found where she would be almost every waking hour of the day; hunching over one of the sowing machines in the Conglomerated Arts Club working on one of her many designs. Lately Nia had been in the Arts Club, working on various designs that she had been toying with but most importantly she had been working on the her designs that would be used in an actual upcoming Fashion Show, seen by actual people and that would be in actual fashion articles in world wide magazines; wizarding and muggle alike. This was like a dream come true for the 16 year old. From a young age she had loved designing clothes, her parents often joked that she would even glam up her own nappies. It was no secret that designing was Nia’s passion and now it was finally getting recognised Nia was more never more nervous about people seeing her designs that she had ever been.

She had been keeping the fashion show quiet from everyone; not even her best friends or her boyfriend knew why she was working on these designs so frantically, wanting to make sure that every stitch was perfect. Nia had even started to skip a few classes, not that she had ever been particularly good at schoolwork but now she was putting practically no effort into even attending classes. After breakfast when she would say goodbye to her friends and James she would sneak back to the Conglomerated Arts Club and work on her designs right through lunch and would maybe get an elf to bring her something for dinner. Even when she was in the dorm with her friends, while they worked on their assignments and revision notes she would be touching up her designs. Of course she felt bad about keeping something this big from the people she held dearest in her life but until the time of the fashion show she didn’t want anyone to know what she was doing for she was so afraid that no one would like them and she would become a laughing stock; this was her big break.
