hey! I like your work, reminds me of when I first started using gimp!

two things of advice that worked for my stuff...

1.) Keep making stuff on Gimp because it's seriously the easiest way to get good with it! (I made like a hundred banners in my first week, testing new things and practicing with the new things I tried)

2.) Have you been using the Contrast? It looks like some of your things are just popping there (like you have a background and then a copied and paste on top) I'm not sure if that's what your going for but if you use the Contrast then it matches your pasted picture with the background picture and helps them blend nicer together!

Other then that I have to say your doing great!

Thanks. I've just been experimenting and seeing what can be done at the moment but I do kinda like some of what I've done.

Which one do you mean because I have no idea which picture you're on about (mainly because I never use copy and paste on gimp). Then I might be able to see what you mean.

lol I didn't mean like you actually copied and pasted just that it kinda looked that way...when you find pictures you should try and find pictures that match well together but if you can't then you should try using contrast (right-click then go to colors and it's there) and softglow (filter's {at the top} then go to Artistic)
