Skye had left her house in a rush very upset with the whole affair that was taking place with her family. It was just so annoying. Not that anything unusual was going on it was more that Skye was sick of her sisters as they were now Toni would be coming home for the summer and the house would be in chaos. Toni would whine and complain about how much more money Skye got for shopping even though Skye only got more money, in her own opinion, because she spent it on more important things like music.

Carrying her guitar in hand, Skye walked through the streets a rather grumpy look on her face. How on earth would she survive with this family the whole summer. How she couldn't wait to get to school.

After walking out of the crowds of people, Skye found herself only surrounded by a few passing people. Deciding that this was a good place to relax and vent her anger, Skye began to strum her guitar. As she began to play she noticed a few people looking at her oddly when the passed. Ignoring them with ease, Skye began to walk slowly around the streets still playing softly. When she was far enough away from the people she began to play a different more upbeat song this time singing the lyrics. "They told him don't you ever come around here Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear The fire's in their eyes and their words are really clear So beat it, just beat it You better run, you better do what you can Don't wanna see no blood, don't be a macho man You wanna be tough, better do what you can So beat it, but you wanna be bad Just beat it, beat it, beat it No one wants to be defeated Show em' how funky strong is your fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or right Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it Just beat it, beat it"

As each word came out of her mouth, Skye felt so much better about just about everything. Gosh how music had that affect on her. She really could continue to sing all day and if no one had the nerve to bother her, she probably would.
