Dave locked up the shop and apparated to Obsidian. He had told his mum he would be late picking up Sadie today. He needed time to think and he couldn't do that with a toddler running around his feet wanting to play. He figured she'd be fine with it. She still had to look after Bella, Rosie and Rio after all. It wasn't like she needed to have the toddler gone. Plus, she enjoyed the company of the toddlers and would probably be happy about being with them.
Dave leaned against a tree at the side of the path and looked over the harbor with his hands in his pockets. The evening was looking quite nice. It was spring so it was starting to get dark already but the day had been sunny so he could just see the sun setting over the horizon, making the sky an amazing red. It looked beautiful and Dave wondered what Sandra would have thought about it. He had managed to keep his life going when she had died but he had no idea how to move on. He still loved her and he didn't want to betray her.
