Aedan slipped noiselessly into the chair, depositing the books in his hands on the table, He had grabbed a few random selections for reading. He picked the first one, Self Defensive Spellwork, because it honestly seemed like the most interesting of the whole stack of books he had randomly selected. Opening to the first page, he began reading, committing to memory all the words that passed under his eyes. The images and words, the texture of the pages, even down to the last blemish and crease of the pages were all duly memorized and packed away inside the recesses of his mind. "Incarcerous," he murmured quietly, trying the word out on his tongue.
"Incarcerous," he said again.

Katy was bored, it was a stupid rainy day outside. The young Hufflepuff decided to go to the Library and check out some books. She decided to take out 'A History Of Magic', because she loved the history of witches and wizards. Her brother was no longer the librarian, but a professor, so she could not talk to him like she used to on days like this. She walked over to the new librarian and checked them out. She then walked over to a table and put her book down. Upon sitting down, she noticed a boy about her age.

There was a slight thud, identified by his unconscious mind as the impact of a book landing on the table. Aedan looked up, seeing a girl sitting nearby. His eyes glanced to the book she was holding; A History of Magic. "The textbook for History of Magic," he said absent-mindedly. He had already memorized his, somewhat. He had only skimmed through it, so the mental images were weak; somewhat hazy.

"Reading up for your lessons?" Aedan asked; he had always believed that most of the wizarding children found history as entertaining as their non-magical counterparts, and generally avoided it if they had a choice.

Katy was surprised to hear the boy ask a question. "Yeah I am, are you?", she responded to him. She was told to read 'A History Of Magic' by her professor, as that was a good reference to what they were learning in history of magic class. She opened up the book to the first page. 'Ancient Egypt'. There was a few kingdoms, or periods that happened during the times of Egypt. It had nothing to do with magic, but Katy had a feeling that it did. She looked up for a moment and saw the boy still practicing his spells.

Aedan shrugged. "Nope. Just reading for leisure. I already read the textbooks a couple of times." He returned his attention to his book of spells. Aedan delicately turned the page to the next. "I don't think you find History of Magic interesting, do you?" He frowned, studying the spell, the Stunning Spell. "Stupefy," he murmured under his breathe.

"Out in the non-magical world, Muggle kids dread history. Seems to be the same here," he added, eyes still on the words in the book.
