Felix had been thoughtful since his conversation with Eoghan, but one thing was for sure. The Ravenclaw had more going on than he let on and there was only one person that might have known how to resolve it. The Gryffindor was lingering around the north tower, trying to track down Lilith on her way out of the common room, but he also didn't want Eoghan to figure out he was there either. This was going to be awkward enough as it was without him raising his defences even higher.

The prefect wasn't sure how long he'd been there before he spotted the brunette on route to her common room. "Hey," Felix whispered, glancing up and down the corridor to check the rest of the coast was clear before darting out to take her arm, "Can we talk?" his voice was low, as he pulled her around the corner out of sight of any of the other students coming by.

Lilith wasn't sure what was going on lately, all she knew was that things had felt a little off since the Yule Ball. She'd put it to the side for the holidays. Now that they were back in the castle though the fifth year was going to see how things went and go from there. Lilith was walking back to the common room when she heard someone whisper a hey. Turning to look around confused she spotted Felix just before the boy grabbed her by the arm. "Uh... Yeah sure? What about?" The prefect asked, slightly startled and blinking at the boy. "Is everything alright?" There was a hint of worry lacing her tone as she took her best friend in.

Felix was grateful that Lilith always seemed happy to talk, "I'm worried about Eoghan," he said directly, not beating around the bush but double checking the corridor again to make sure he wasn't in ear shot. It was going to be hard to explain why Felix was worried without explaining what happened in the duelling chamber. "Is there.. something going on with him? I mean, outside of you know, his usual upbeat manner," he asked. Surely if someone knew what he was going through it was her.

Lili was just about to relax when there was no visible signs of anything to worry about on Felix, but then he said he was worried about Eoghan of all people and the Ravenclaw felt herself tense up completely. Frowning she looked at the Gryffindor. "How come?" She managed to ask before Fifi questioned whether there was anything going on with her boyfriend, other than the usual. Lilith thought on it for a second, knowing everything that was happening with his twin being with the boy that had taken advantage of them and all that. "Why do you ask? Has something happened?" She asked warily, worried of whether something had happened that the boy had not wanted to tell her.

"He said a few things recently that make me think he's, not, good." Felix admitted, searching her face for clues since she wasn't giving out any information yet. Lilith seemingly didn't know though, or at least wasn't aware of something being the case. Felix told her of their conversation in the duelling chamber, and the things he'd mentioned to Professor Adler, all under the hushed tones so only she could hear him. "If he feels like he has no choices, or if someone is making him do something he doesn't want to, maybe that's why," he didn't think Lilith was the one causing it, Felix could trust that.

Lilith tilted her head a little to the left as Felix said Eoghan had said things that gave off the impression he wasn't all good. She knew that Eoghan hadn't wanted to really go home for Christmas and that things with his twin seemed to be tense but as the Gryffindor prefect opened the conversation he'd had with her boyfriend Lilith's frown only deepened. "I uh there was this boy he and his twin used to hang out with, he wasn't a good person," she said in a hushed tone. Lilith wasn't sure how much she could share without betraying his boyfriend's trust but it was making her sick with worry to hear about the conversation between the boys and their former professor. Leaning against the cool wall behind her Lilith contemplated what to say without going into too much detail. "His twin is hanging out with the boy more recently so that must be just bringing back old memories. It's a tricky situation he is in currently home wise." Lilith hoped that wasn't too much.

Felix listened intently as Lilith filled him on a few things, and found that imagining Eoghan at home was weird. "I didn't even know he had siblings," he admitted, debating what it would mean. "I don't think it's just that, though," Felix whispered. "If Eoghan feels invisible, like I don't know, he's holding on to this grudge because he thinks people walk over him, are you sure there's not more to it?" If Ten was dating someone he didn't like, Felix didn't think he'd like it but he wouldn't necessarily feel involved in it either, at least not to the extent that it would change how he spoke to others. "Maybe I'm just imagining it, or I just don't want to think he hates me," Felix scoffed, "but, to me, I just have that gut feeling." He knew what it was like to feel like he was just there for someone else's amusement, perhaps Eoghan felt like a convenience.

Lilith leaned more into the cool wall, wanting the cool stone to just absorb her while at it. "Yeah he doesn't trust a lot of people, he is very private." Lili said nodding, it'd taken him time to warm up to her too. "I could talk to him, try to see what's going on or if there's something else?" She suggested, more so to herself perhaps than the Gryffindor. "No I don't think that's it, I don't think he hates you." Lilith objected immediately, Eoghan didn't hate Felix at least Lili didn't think he did. "I'll talk to him, I'll see what's going on and figure it out with him." The prefect nodded, finally pushing off the wall she was more or less becoming a part of. "Thank you for telling me, sorry for not being much help in this exact moment but I'll try to see what's going on." She gave Felix a small smile.

Felix suddenly had a thought, "What's his twins name?" Surely if his twin was at the school, in their year, he would know who they were. Were they friends? Was the guy Eoghan and his twin knew in their year too? "Yeah, yeah course," Felix thought Lilith should have known even if she didn't have the answers just yet, besides she was probably the best person for him to talk to and the best chance of solving it. He probably could have told Susie too but that girl wouldn't have known tact if it slapped her in the face. "Keep me updated?" he asked. Even if he didn't have all the details he felt somewhat involved given he seemed to be on the other end of the rod up Eoghan's a**.

Lilith wasn't even vaguely aware that Felix thought it to be possible that Eoghan's twin was also at Hogwarts. "Imogen," she told him with a shrug. then gave the boy a smile as he asked her to keep him updated. "Yeah I'll keep you updated." She would at least try to tell him as much as she could without breaking any boundaries but given the way he was affected by the situation, however indirectly or involuntarily so, Felix was affected and he deserved to know at least some of it.

Felix suddenly looked at Lilith with a face of horror. Imogen, as in, Esme's sister? No, that wasn't possible, although now that he thought about it they did look similar. If Eoghan was actually a Cade in disguise that would mean Felix could well be related to him one day. Eugh. "There's only Imogen in Slytherin," Felix told her, as though Lilith didn't already know. Maybe Lilith meant Eoghan was a triplet although surely Esme would have told him.

Lilith watched as all sorts of emotions passed through Felix's face, she was confused. What had she said? It was only when the boy said there's only an Imogen in Slytherin that the prefect snorted out a laugh, immediately throwing a hand to cover her mouth. "Oh no no no..." She spoke against her palm, understanding the face of horror. Imogen was twins with Esme aka Fifi's ex girlfriend, the horror now made sense. "No, Eoghan's twin isn't at Hogwarts." Lilith said, lowering her hand still giggling a little. "Merlin, I wish I had Leo's camera so I could have captured your face just now."

Relief washed through this, perhaps more than he wanted to admit. "Oh, shut up," Felix smiled, whispering under his breath at Lili laughing at him. He wondered why Eoghan's sister would have chosen to have gone to one of the other schools instead of Hogwarts, then again perhaps he should have considered it a blessing. Having two Eoghans wandering the castle would have been a nightmare. "Well, maybe I'll run into her one day playing Quidditch," Felix mused. If Gryffindor won the trophy again and played against another school, he'd have to keep an eye out.

Lilith grinned at Felix, shaking her head a little. "Don't think I will, you definitely saw your life flash before your eyes for a second." She said once her laughter had died down a little. "Ah, yeah don't hold your breath on that one. She isn't well a witch." A b*tch maybe but that wasn't something Lili would ever say out loud and she was sure Imogen had her reasons for being the way she was towards her and all.

"Yeah, yeah," Lilith wasn't wrong, Ten wanted to be a Cade one day but Felix had no intention of being related to the Ravenclaw, although he supposed that would make Lilith his relation too so perhaps there would have been a perk. Felix blinked at the prefect for a few seconds, taking in the extra information that Imogen, Eoghan's Imogen, wasn't actually a witch at all. So, Eoghan had a squib for a sister? It probably did make things a bit more complicated, especially when they lived so far away. "He's basically doing magic for the both of them then," he thought out loud. And Felix thought his relationship with Ten was unusual.

Lili's smile fell a little as she realized she'd just told personal details of Eoghan's life to Felix. "Uh please don't tell anyone about his sister though, I'm not sure he wants everyone to know and if I'm even supposed to share it but it felt like a tidbit worth mentioning given the situation." She knew she could trust Felix, but it was Eoghan's information and she'd go the extra mile to ensure it didn't beyond the Gryffindor.

"Okay, I won't tell anyone," Felix could keep the mysterious twin a secret, although he wonder why Eoghan felt the need to be as secretive as he seemed to be. However that wasn't up to him, and he wasn't going to throw Lilith into the fire by letting on.
