It was now the holidays and the Halfway House was doing some more business than usual, something which Azkadellia preferred, it kept her busy. Although the children didn’t stay in the house too often, especially as they had school supplies to get, so Azkadellia got some free time to herself. Sticking close to the Village, Harbour and the Mall so she could keep an eye on the children she walked around a few of the shops herself, always keeping an eye out for something for herself. With a small sigh she continued her window shopping, she was getting a bit lonely as of late. Sure it was great having the children but they didn’t want to hang about with the Matron, she missed her own friends from Bulgaria but still didn’t regret moving to New Zealand.

Winter in New Zealand was nothing compared to the winters in Rosaline Zhefarovich's home country and it amused her how the patron's of the country found it cold. With that said, it was still cold for her baby boy, Vulcan Ludovic, and she was not bringing him out into the cold like this when he was only three months old and very liable to catch his death so he stayed with his father and her husband as she went shopping for diapers which they had very quickly run out of, along with more jumpers for Vulcan and clothes for their other two babies. So she headed to Brightstone Village with a crack from apparation and walked with her wand tight at her side and her dark blue eyes darting around her with an expression of hidden disgust with the mud-wallowers. There were so many mudbloods around and as she aged, she became less patient with all the groups of people she disliked and wished to get rid of them as a whole. But that was for a later time, now she had to shop for the three people she loved most in the entire world.

Azkadellia grew bored of well being bored to be honest. She had gathered whatever bits and pieces she needed for the Halfway House and figured that she may as well head back that way as she had nothing else to do for today. She wondered if she could risk a few hours, possibly days back home, just to get a break away from everything. Merlin knew that her parents hated the fact that she left home to move so far away and would love to see her again, perhaps she would write first? Making her way back down to the Halfway House a flash of red caught her eyes. Turning her head she saw a familiar red head, her bare arms only confirming who the person was. “No children today I see.” she said with a tiny smirk as she walked over to her old friend.

Rosaline looked as she heard a voice, it was familiar and she turned. "Azkadellia Elysian," spoke the red headed woman before she embraced the only friend she had during all her years at Durmstrang and still the only person she could still consider to be so. "It is far too cold for them, I fear. But they will grow used to the cold winters of our home land soon enough," she spoke as she pulled away. "Как беше?" "How have you been?" Rosaline asked in their native tongue of Bulgarian, crossing her bare arms across her chest.

Azkadellia embraced friend lightly, motherhood looked good on Rosaline, it seemed so long ago since the two roamed the halls of the great Durmstrang, motherhood far from their minds. Granted it still seemed like a distant dream for Azkadellia but she was happy with the children she cared for, as if they were her own. “Ah, I see! We would have been lucky if our parents had been so generous when we were young.” she said with a laugh, remembering how tough her own parents had been when she was younger, there was no time for little girls not able to stick the cold. Pulling away from her friend Azkadellia smiled fondly at the sound of her native tongue, it had been so long since she heard it from another person. “I’ve been good. Very busy with all of the children but I can’t complain.” she said, the words in her native language rolling off her tongue with ease. “How have you been? And the family?” she asked her friend.
