- Curly 13 Inch Sturdy Ash Wand with Hippogriff Feather Core
Nathanial was in Gryffindor, the noble red house. He was not an expert on the houses here, as he had neglected to ask Speed, or his mother about them. But now, he was here to figure it all out by himself and by Merlin was he ready to go through this place like a tornado. He was separated from his sister, Emily, and, to be quite frank, it was a blessing. She was a tattletail, and was always telling him what to do. Now, he had a little bit of freedom. And freedom was nice. Emily and him just didn't have the same interests. He still remembered when she tattled to Dad about the flobberworm he put on the counter, and she also told their father how he had a collection of crickets in a bucket in the bathroom. She was the worst, and now she wasn't his problem. It was such a bonus to the young boy.
Wearing his Gryffindor robes and a small smile on his face, Nathanial walked as the chilly wind blew through his long, fluffy hair. He was heading towards the Rosebush, because he liked flowers (though he would take such affections to his grave). The newly sorted Gryffindor stood before the flowers and gave them some of his time. He was going to explore everything and see everything, so he may as we'll start with the pleasant stuff, and then work on the not as pleasant stuff, like the forest. He had his eyes on the forest. The only problem was the professors. They patrolled through there. He shrugged his shoulders at the thought and continued to look around the trees. It was starting to get a little bit boring, to be honest, and he sighed. He needed someone to talk to, otherwise he may as well just nap all the time.
Fixing his tie, Nathanial ducked under some lower hanging branches, and smiled when he thought he may have seen a snowy owl, and recognised it as his own. "Oh!" He began to chase the creature, who stuck to tree branches, doing something that had to be a mix between hopping and running, but not quite flying. The Gryffindor had neglected to lock the cage, and now Clarence was out - again. "Come on Clarence!" He called, holding out his arm. Clarence stared wide-eyed at him, and hooted, before scrambling off again. "Clarence!" That was it. Nathanial looked at the tree beside him, trying to measure it up. It would be a bit tricky to climb without some help, but he tried anyway. Unfortunately, he managed to wedge himself between the trunk and a branch. He attempted to wiggle and kick his way out, but he was stuck. "Awe man..." Now what was he going to do?
