miles of countryside

[ooc; Andy, go to the 1st years topic in Halloween. Unfortunately, Andy and Jolly are wearing the same costume <_< ]

"I am not confirming I'll come as a fairy though," said Jolly. "I am not that innocent...though I might look like it sometimes...or most of the time." She grinned cheekily. "But I am very indecisive, so I might change my mind." She laughed at Andy's last year's costume - a pumpkin. "Now that's a very good idea," teased Jolly, giggling.

[[ ooc that's ok Jolly we look great anyway! ]]

Andy shook her head, "It looks cute if you're like 3 or something or 20 something we a great figure. It's just cause for the bullies to get mean and nasty when you're ten!"

Andy looked at Violet and gasped, "You've never celebrated it before? It's really big where I'm from. We take our pagan traditions very seriously. It's only been in the last 20 or 30 years that kids have gone around trick or treating though. Before that the families used to just play games and tell ghost stories and stuff. My grandmother said they didn't even dress up in fancy dress costumes back then".

Jolly listened to Andy and then added her own experience. "Every Halloween, my dad used to dress up as a very scary creature and then freak me out early in the morning. I still can't get how he came up with different ideas every year. But it was fun. And then, mum made a delicious dinner at night. Every year would be the same. Something dark or mysterious. Perhaps a dirty looking gravy...but it probably had a charm on it anyway. It used to be fun!"

[ooc; lol, i guess we do :D ]
