Andromeda enjoyed this part of the day, just after lunch and a while to go before dinner. She walked up to the North tower and went right to the very top where the open turrets bared itself to the dismal day.
The clouds were heavy and grey again today, but she didn't mind. For the first time in her life she had girly things to think about. There was a fancy dress coming up and she hadn't a clue what to dress up as, she had been told there was a Yule Ball as well which meant having to bring a partner and getting dressed up in evening gowns. She sighed, every girl she knew here was so beautiful or had the makings to be. She walked over to one of the turrets and hoisted herself up.
She sat down on the inner edge, looking out over the miles of beautiful countryside and landscape. It really was beautiful here and nearly as green as back home.
She held her hands out infront of her and sighed, she looked at the freckles on her hands and felt even more miserable.
Her red hair wasn't even a beautiful shade the way Jolly's was, it seemed dull and lifeless. Her face was pale except for the million freckles that covered it and camouflaged her. her eyes... the strangest shade of amber in the world. She knew when she was excited or nervous and more especially when she was angry they seemed to look as if they were burning like two flaming orbs inside an already strange physiognomy.
She leant back against the parapet and watched the wind tossing the leaves and swaying the trees. Today she didn't even feel like flying, she must be hormonal she thought.
