Mizelea was never one to sleep on a night such as this. Too many thoughts rushing in and out of her mind, too much excitement, just too much life. An ideal time to take a breather and sneak down to the kitchens for some late night snacks or something a little stronger.Sneaking in and out of her room some trips around the corridors was like entering a new world. The castle was stone silent. Hardly a sound come out of the walls, portraits, empty rooms, and massive stairways. It was like living in a different castle altogether compared to the day time chaos that was Beauxbatons. Mizelea never wanted too much of it though. But at the same time the adrenaline that came along with these trips in and out of her room at night were beyond amazing. Even the simplest trip down to the kitchens was a quest. Over four years, Mizelea had her far share of moments of getting caught but not recently. Age made one wish about such things.

It didn't help she loved figuring out the patterns to the professors to make these things easier. Finding the quickest routes or slowest times of time, it was all a game to the brunette. Half the fun was doing it without any aid. Sure the castle was dark and a maze but even with all that, Mizelea had learned these hallways well. No need for light to make her an even bigger target to the professors. So tonight was going to be like any other night. No need to get all dressed up for the occasion, still dressed in her red and gold long cotton pajama pants and scarlet tank top, feeling her ponytail swing with each step she took, the girl was ready. This castle was a home away from home in that manner. Even on the busiest of days, Mizelea had never had a fear of walking around like this if she had just woken up.

Comfort and ease were two words the girl lived by. Another was caution. Being a sly escapee meant that sometimes she had to be on the lookout even in the best of moods. Tonight was once again, no exception. Feeling her way through the hallways quietly a sudden sensation on the back of her spine caught the girl's attention not far after leaving the corridor. Perking her ears up for footsteps. Mizelea didn't hear any sort of usually steps coming this way, making her senses even more curious. Could there be someone following her? Halting in her spot, Mizelea quickly dashed forward, ducking out of sight behind the nearest set of armor to see if anyone was truly trying to follow her.

The night was warm, the occasion special. Blaine, dressed in his formal suit, walked into the restaurant his father had booked out, a grin on his face as he fixed up his bowtie. Tonight was his birthday, and he was looking foward to it. The night blurred on, and seemed to slow down when they reached dinner. All of his friends were seated around the table, rich, malicious and spiteful, all of them claiming to be loyal but all of them who would backstab him to gain power. His father was seated at one head of the table, his assistant and new bimbo girlfriend seated either side of him, and Blaine seated at the other end. As Blaine's father stood up to give his speech, Blaine grinned, ready to accept yet more praise. And yet, the speech was not what he had expected.

Blaine woke from his nightmare, blinking and wondering where he was for a moment. He sighed and brought his hands up to his face, breathing heavily and trying to calm himself. He pulled the covers away, and rolled out of bed, pulling on his jeans and a v-neck shirt, and his volleys. Walking out of the dorm, and through the common room, he sighed to himself, trying to take his mind off of the nightmare. It annoyed him that he had to suffer his disowning over and over again, and it frustrated him that it had been done infront of all of his friends.

Lighting up a smoke, he strolled through the deserted corridors of Beauxbatons, not scaring if he was caught up, he tried to calm himself by softly singing a Linkin Park song. Now that he was alone, he didnt need to keep up his spoilt rich boy charade, and was able to be himself. Puffing on his smoke, he exhaled and began to sing. "Telling me to go, but hands beg me to stay, your lips say that you love, your eyes say that you hate... There's truth in your lies, doubt in your faith, what you've build you've laid to wa..." he sang, stopping abruptly as he heard footsteps. "Is someone there?" he called drawing his wand and taking another puff of his smoke.

Mizelea thought she was being paranoid, hearing the footsteps. Ignoring the sound she went to the nearest window to gaze at the moon. It was a full moon, watching it lightening up the whole city. Sleeping was the last thing inside her mind and Quidditch being the first. She loved the game more than anything and how lucky she was to be chosen to be a captain of a team. Three years more and she'll be graduating, Mizelea wasn't sure for her future. Most of all she didn't wanted to end up with her sister, who wants to be a teacher at the muggle world. She wanted to stay here in the Wizarding world, maybe after graduating she'll be pretty much travel around the world first.

Other than that she also dreamed to be a veterinarian, a witch veterinarian atleast. Mizelea was to busy imagining stuff that she totally forgot what was she wearing. "It's Chanel anyway." she teased herself, giggling along the corridor. It started to be a little warm and it made her smile once more. Last time her plan to stroll alone didn't worked out as she planned. Meeting Devlin along the way wasn't that pleasing nor was it disturbing. Either way Mizelea needed to meet her team soon, being the Keeper of the team she was ready and devoted to work with them.

As she was too busy thinking, she heard footsteps again. This time she wasn't just being paranoid, there was a humming boy too. She felt guarded but not scared at all, after all she wished to see some ghost around the school once in a while. Turning her back she noticed a boy, his voice very much unfamiliar. From his tone of his voice, he sound worried. She then pulled her wand out of her pocket, just to make sure. "Lumos.."she stated loud and clearly. As the tip of her wand started to lighten up. Mizelea pointed it out directly from where the sound was coming from, taking a few steps closer.

His mind still running, trying to keep his mind off of his nightmare. He was also thinking a great deal about Quidditch. He had recently received a letter from one of the new school Quidditch Captains, confirming that he had been accepted as the Co-Captain of one of the teams. He had been delighted, and now he full realised the stresses of being a Co-Captain, and running a team. It wasnt like it was all on him, the Captain, Mizelea, would do most of the work. But he still had his say on things, and helping to choose a team wasnt the easiest thing in the world. But he didnt need to think about that at the moment, though it wasnt helping always stressing about it.

He frowned when the spell was cast, but didnt move. He wasnt sure who exaclty had their wand pointed at him, and unless they dropped the light from his face, he was going to curse them. Patients wasnt one of his virtues, and he was easily pissed off. "Wanna drop the wand?" Blaine said, now seeing that it was a girl two years younger than he. He took another draw of his cigaratte, finishing it, and stamped his foot on it as it hit the ground.

Blaine looked back up, not studying the girl infront of his as he combed his hair with his hand. He was sure he had seen her before, but at that present time, couldnt think of where. As he studied her, trying to place her face, it suddenly dawned on him. "Your Mizelea Brooks, right?" he said, now analyzing her with curiosity. "Im Blaine, Blaine Michaels, your um, partner i suppose." he said with an awkward smile, holding out his hand to her.

Just as she guessed, it was a boy older than her. "Nox." she stated lowering her wand. It was the first time he saw the boy but obviously the boy knew her. Placing her wand back to her pocket as she crossed her arms and listened to the stranger. All she did was nod with a straight face, after all he was knew to her. After the boy talk she looked at him once more observing, watching his used cigarette lying down on floor. She knew very well that it was wrong to smoke also during campus but she ignored the idea and observed the boy further. "Blaine? I think I do know you..." she trailed off. "And yes I'm Mizelea Brooks." she felt something toward the boy a sense of like something was wrong.

Sure she was young, but she was smart enough and vigilant to handle a team. It was still a shock to her why did she even bother to have a co-captain. Well at least he was older, though it actually her first time to see him around the school. Mizelea spend four year here in Beauxbaton and basically memorized each and every ones faces, except for Blaine. "Are you a transferee?" she asked her crossing her arms. Lately, Mizelea changed, she was trying to be mature at least or was it that she was just really getting moody. The climate complimented her emotions from time to time. Still Mizelea is still Mizelea, she was still the same jolly fellow everyone used to know and loved.

She tried to smile hoping, she didn't made the boy weirded out by her. "Well see about that during the try-outs." she teased him. Mizelea couldn't wait until the team gets completed, Quidditch was a match that surely everyone would enjoy watching. Other than her ideas, she couldn't help but notice that the sun seem to rising up, inches from the clouds. She forgot her watch with her, how she wished she could think of a spell to use for time too bad there seems to be no spell like that.

Blaine waited for his eyes to re-adjust, blinking a few times to clear his eyes. He smiled at her girl, not caring that he wasnt keeping his facade up. He had the feeling that he could trust her just by looking at her, and wasnt too fussed that she knew he wasnt a complete prick. Someone had to know his secret at least, though he wasnt about to break out and tell her all his secrets. He just saw treating his new Quidditch Captain nicely would go a long way to making a decent impression. "No, ive been at Beauxbatons all my life... I just, tend to spend as little time at the school as i can..." he said, and left it at that. Earlier, as a child, he had spent all of his time in his room at his fathers hotel, playing his xbox and hanging out with mates, and these days, he spent his time in his Penthouse Suite, drinking and partying with his inner circle and whatever girls who tagged along.

As Blaine studied her, he was already picking up a few of her traits. Blaine could read people well enough, and as he watched her, he knew she was a cheerful and nice person, who was confident in herself, and he knew she would give it her all for the team, which was why he was happy to follow her, something he had never done before. He had always been the leader, always the one on top. But he felt confident in her abilities as a leader. And he was always there if she needed him. "Yes, i suppose we will." he said, grinning at her. He was completely confident in his abilities, and knew he was one of the best Seekers in the school.

He watched her look out the window, and looking at his rowlex, noticed the time. "Wow, 6am already." he said to himself, walking over to the window and opening it. They were only on the second floor of the castle, and as he looked out the window noticed the roof to the courtyard walkway was less than a meter down. He climbed through, standing on the roof and taking in the fresh morning air. Now that he studied her, he noticed the girl was wearing a very light dress. Remembering he had left his bedroom window open, he drew his hand. "Accio Jacket." he said, and a few seconds later watched his Leather Jacket fly down from his room. He offered it to Mizelea, and held out his hand to help her out the window. "Care to join me?" he asked with a charming smile. He usually came down here and sat on the roof to watch the sunrise.

As long as a person smile, Mizelea felt that person had something good in him or her. She returned his smile with her smile, she was used to the idea of always smiling it was probably her hobby. Mizelea didn't feel awkward at all with having a co-leader older than her, and quite taller than her. At the age of fourteen she'll soon grew taller and taller as it was in her genes. She wasn't sure though if the boy was lying or not, still it wasn't that important. Having used to idea of waking up early was her thing, back in Texas she'll be the first one to wake up. Unlike other girls, Mizelea was used to be dirty and playing with mud. Sure she was a girly girl but at the same time she's quite of a tomboy at times.

Being the keeper of the team wasn't that hard for her, back at home she used carry chopped logs and even deliver sacks from barn up to the their house. She had strength like any other boy from the school and was always ready to take on a challenge. Mizelea's family was wealthy, owning many and wide lots all over Texas and a barn which was also their family business. Never did she acted spoiled and even showed how reach they were. She was always humble and fearless, the only thing she loved spending money on was her clothes. Mizelea wasn't like her sister Ximena at all, she never was contented with less. That was mainly the reason why she'd gone to Beauxbaton. After all her father was a great wizard, even though it was miles and miles away she decided to leave at the age of ten.

One year for wandering and searching schools, until she finally decided to stay in Beauxbaton. Hogwarts was her second decision, but she didn't liked the fact that it was away from Europe. France to be exact, she loved shopping and roaming through the streets of France and entering boutiques. Mizelea had it all,but then again she wanted to aim higher than she could ever do. It was already six am and she felt quite surprised, it's been almost an hour or so that she'd been awake as she was wandering around. She then watch Blaine climbing, which she thought that he would leave her alone. Suddenly, a jacket appeared out of nowhere. "Thanks." she said to him in return. All Mizelea could do was nod and other than that remember a spell that could change her outfit as she didn't want to be seen wearing her pajamas.

Blaine was quite enjoying watching her in her undergarments, though he knew this girl was off-bounds, being his new Quidditch Captain. He helped her through the window, and turned to few the school grounds. The grounds themselves were peaceful and elegant, and still help the same beauty they did when it was busy. The waking hours of the morning were not everyones favourite, but they were Blaine's. He pulled another cigarette our as he sat down on the edge of the roof, sitting back and speading his legs out before him.

He as sat in blissful peace, he smiled to himself, remembering days long past, when he had sat on this roof with friends, watching the world go by and believing things would never change. Oh how they had. "So, Mizelea, tell me about yourself?" he said, smiling up at her. He was interested in this girl, mainly because he was slightly suprised one so young had been given the Captain position, was was curious about the girl. He already knew she was a morning person, otherwise she wouldnt have been there now. He patted the spot next to him, and, making sure his smoke blew the other way, took a draw before turning back to her.

Still in the same clothes, but that sounds good :D

Crossing her arms, feeling quite naked. It was indeed inappropriate, thankful she had the jacket to cover her up. Mizelea followed him up, knowing they would go on top of the roof. She wasn't sure if they would even catch the sunrise, it was after all six in the morning. From there, the view was just breath taking. She smiled enjoying the beauty of the grounds smiling. While standing, she tried to realize if she was needed somewhere in school. But then again she finished her school work before everyone else. It wouldn't hurt to stay with Blaine for a while she thought.

She was quite turn-off when Blaine pulled out a cigarette again, he was only seventeen and he already knew how to smoke. Mizelea hated guys who smoke, but then again he wasn't her friend just yet. Mornings, was loved by Mizelea, smelling the fresh air and seeing the sunlight through her drapes was just something that she loved. "What do you want to know?" she asked him in return. She felt weird today, though she was still the same giddy and bubbly girl.

Covering her mouth as she approached him, taking a seat inches near him. From this point, she still hated smoke. Smoke, she remembered her hometown Texas, the air was smoke free. It wasn't polluted from their side. Growing up in a barn and a farm was much different living in a big city. Though every month her mother would take her to New York up to California just so she could buy new clothes. Mizelea was quite picky with her clothes, she loved them as she loved her pets back at home.

Oh my bad, i read it wrong, i edited it

As Blaine studied her, he noticed that she was looking somewhat disgusted at the smoke. He sighed, and after taking one last draw, flicked the smoke off of the roof, and blew the smoke in a different direction than what Mizelea was sitting. Taking a piece of gum out of his pocket, he chewed it and smiled at her. "Im sorry... Bad habbits die hard." he chuckled, shrugging to himself. He owed her no explanation, but she didnt deserve to sit there and have to put up with something that disgusted her.

Watching her, he considered what it was he wanted to know, and then decided he wasnt to fussed at all. "Whatever you want to tell me reall, im not too fussed." He said, chuckling and laying back onto the roof, watching the blue sky.

Mizelea looked at the boy while listening to his words, he sounded well pretty much normal. Good thing Mizelea never had any bad habits, she loved to have a clean record as much as possible. Sure her father drinks beer from time to time but he was never addicted to eat. Mizelea prefered drinking butterberr other than muggles beer, it tasted bitter and she hated it. Though red and white wine was a must for her, she loved the sweet and tangy flavor. Only a mile away from their barn there was their vine yard. She wasn't allowed to go there from time to time, as it her father said that the grapes were quite delicate. Though she very well knew that wasn't true. Still she never wanted to disappoint her father.

She glanced back at Blaine and started to think of what to answer to him. "Hmmm. Well I'm just that girl next girl type I guess." she replied giggling. She felt weird that the boy seems to be interested with her for no reason.
