Harri walked cautiously upto the owlery. Alot of ghost haunted these four walls. As soon as she stepped in she felt and icy breath tickle her neck. She looked around at the many owls who stood there. She had no intention of sending a letter. She hadn't sent a letter in a long time. Although with the help of her friends she was feeling alot better about herself and her life, the thoughts of letter still sent a shiver up her spine. Her tiny 11 year old frame shook from the cold that surrounded her. She was frozen to the spot, but that had nothing to do with the fact that she was freezing. The owls hooted and her eyes darted looking for the school owl she always used. She spotted him and walked over. She stroked his brown fur and as he stuck his leg out instinctivly she gently pushed it down "Not now!" she whispered. She walked around and past memories flung to her mind. She blocked them out but they seemed to be screaming in her head, reminding her of bad times. She blanked them out and walked over to the window sill and sat down staring out the window looking across the wonderful Hogwarts grounds.

Caysi was walking the grounds and wanted to go see Auburn. She walked up the stairs to the Owlery and saw that Harri was there. " Hey Harri, is everything alright?". Caysi didn't sense that everything was right, but it was sooooo cold outside today.

Harri snapped out of her trance returning to her usual happy self " Hey Cays!" she said, realising that she was only dropping one letter of Caysi's name but still doing it any way. "Oh I'm fine just this place holds alot of memories for me. Not all of the good!" Harri said trying to keep her smile. She rubbed her hands together trying to keep warm "Gosh it's cold today isn't it!" she said looking out the window. She guessed she would probably end up telling Caysi about Emma but wanted to let the conversation flow first.

Caysi came beside Harri and said " I like that nickname!". she giggled not knowing if Harri 'meant to do that. " Yeah , I have some good and bad memories here too". She put her elbows on the window and looked outside. " Why so gloom, and I have to tell you about Cam soon!". she winked at Harri.

James stirred in his sleep. He turned over fidgeting before finally waking and walking downstairs. He was so worried about his niece, more worried then her father. But he didn't understand, he hadn't spent the christmas holidays with her. She had been so different, her happy self was down the drain and replaced by an emotional ghost of herself. She had been prowling the streets alone at night, writing strange letters to old friends, and making new ones he wasn't keen on. He had heard hardly anything about her life at Hogwarts and had hoped she would have been able to confide in him.
James walked around the downstairs of his house. Harri's house was just across the road yet with out her there he saw no reason to visit. He walked slowly to the kitchen pouring himself a hot chocolate and being so preoccupied he spilt half of the boiling water all over the side. He left it there dripping slowly down the cupboards, looking out the window he saw no sign of life in the Turner household. No-one stirred, no lights flickered, Harri's parents weren't up worrying about her. He walked into the front room and sat down, Bruce bounded up to him licking his face. He stroked him gently tickling his soft spot behind his ear. Harri didn't know that he looked after Bruce while she was at school. She thought he stayed at her house but James had been asked to look after him the minute she was away. He was big and lovable and accompanied James on his daily runs and rugby sessions.
James left his hot chocolate untouched on the coffee table and ran upstairs pulling on a pair of tracksuit and a t-shirt. He was doing what he always did when he needed to think. Run. He stretched briefly then set off. For the first half and hour it was a jog. Peacful and not to strenuos but as he entered the 45 minute mark he sped up. Running at speed. His muscles were panging and his heart beating, but these were the times he was happiest. This was the time when he could tell he was alive. The aching in his biceps told him he was there still live and strong. He sprinted faster and faster his muscley arms pounding and his legs bouncing of the pavement. He sprinted home running faster and faster feeling like he was never going to stop. The he was home. He stopped and done his cool down exercises. With a clear head he walked inside and sat down. He grabbed a quill and parchment and began to write.
Dear Harri,
I hope everythings going well at school! You never really told me much in the holidays! Everyones missing you loads especialy Bruce. I'm looking after him at the moment as I need someone to come jogging with me now your gone! And he moans a hell of a lot less then you do! Always saying you hate running yet coming with me every morning!
How are you? Answer me truthfully please. I need to know how you are, I've been worrying non stop! I hope your better then you were in the holidays!
All my love James.
He found a photo of himself and Harri he smiled at the memories it held. He had never realised before how similar they looked. He grinned as he put it into the letter. He attatched it to his owl and sent her off. He watched her fly off into the sunrise before heading upstairs for a shower.

"I'm glad!" Harri said grinning. "Yes tell me about Cam now!" she said grinning. She smiled as she saw her uncles owl swoop down she gave her a treat and then took the letter and read it."It's from my uncle!" she said to Caysi indicating the letter. She smiled, typical for him to be worried about her, she hadn't heard a word from her parents but she knew she would from her uncle. Her brow furrowed slightly in confusion. Why was Bruce with James? She hoped he was ok. And she suddenly missed her St. Bernard so much. "Why aren't we allowed to bring dogs?" Harri said smiling at the thought of the Gryffindor common room over run with dogs! "I'll replie later!" she said tucking the letter away but keeping the photo out. She grinned at the sight of it, they were both covered in mud and clutching rugby balls! She had had so much fun that day, James was more like an older brother then an uncle. She showed Caysi the photo "It's me and my uncle!" she said grinning, she had never realised how much they looked like each other untill now!

Caysi smiled " I love dogs, I wonder why we aren't allowed to bring them". " Are you sure you'd like to hear about Cam now?". she giggled.

"I know! I miss my dog soo much! But I think he would be too big to bring anyway!" she said laughing imagining Bruce curled up in an amrchair in the common room. " And Yes Cays I really want to hear about Cam and you!" Harri said grinning.

Caysi laughed " Buckle In, this is going to be a long story!". " Ok, it began the first time Kiera and I went over to her house, I saw him...he just, I don't know the word..but you get it. I've had talks with him and stuff, but nothing like that last one before I came back here. I met him at the Leaky Cauldron just to talk to him but we did, I flirted and stuff..and when he was leaving...he kissed me". she smiled. " Now that my friend is more interesting then hearing about my big family!".

Harri smiled "Thats so romantic!" she said soppily "Have you like him for ages then?" She asked.

((You can join.... If you ask permision :p ))

"Wow!" Harri said smiling "So come on then, is he a good kisser?" she asked giggling.

Kiera made her way up to the Owlery. She had a letter for her father and her brother. She needed Pharaoh to take them to each of them. The one to her dad was about arragements for training and competing this summer. The one to her brother was an ongoing arguement about her gymnastics this summer. She skipped into the large room. She found Harri and Caysi. "Hey." she called out as she walked over to Pharaoh.

Caysi nodded " Like a Pro!" she laughed " Nah, he's pretty good". she winked. " Hey Kiera!".

Harri laughed at Caysi's comment. "Hey Kiera!" Harri said ,as Kiera walked in, grinning at Caysi "Howa you?" she asked.

" Doing good mate, how 'bout yourself?". She smiled. " Who was that letter to?".

Harri laughed "Doing good!" she said "We're not doing much just talking. But Definatly not keeping secrets!" Harri said grinning.

Caysi stood up straight. " What did you say to Cam?". she gave a little smile.

Harri laughed "No I didn't! Were not telling secrets just joking around!" she said and laughed. Harri smiled as Caysi talked about Cam.

Kiera shrugged and smiled. "It was just my reply to our ongoing arguement." she said pausing. "I did tell him you were being a pain and obsessing over him." she said. Kiera had really not said a single thing about Caysi but it would do Cays good to think she had.
