♥History
Melody grew up as a happy, carefree girl, loving life, and enjoying every moment. Her two brothers have always been annoying, but she loves them. She loved to be around the water and go swimming, and be with her friends. She was also quite intelligent, top of her class. But in 2021 she fell in love with a new boy to town. He promised her that they would spend the rest of their life together. She felt very strongly for him, and rested all her hopes and dreams on him. He then told her that he was interested in someone else, and left her broken hearted for her best friend. She drew back into her shell, and slowly stopped talking to anyone, or showing any emotion. She is now basically mute, and has a lot of emotions bottled up inside. She started her first year of magical education at Hogwarts New Zealand, but after several incidents, and her general outlook becoming even more depressed, her parents moved her to Beauxbatons, where they could be closer to her.

Father's name: Brendan Renson
Brief description: Magical. A lawyer in London. He is a worhaholic type, and isn't really home much. He is ashamed of his magical blood, mostly because of his family, the Cliffeton's who have always exerted an unspoken pressure to be successful. He tries to lead a normal, non magical life. He is also ashamed of his daughter, which is why he sent her to boarding school in New Zealand, and after that, let her be closer to them, but go to Beauxbatons, instead of Hogwarts Scotland.
Mother's name: Niamh Renson (Pronounced Nieeve)
Brief description: Magical. She also works long hours in a muggle office, but cares very deeply for her daughter, and was sad to see her go to off to school in a different country.
Siblings: Two tearaway brothers, Hamish and Brian. Hamish is five, and Brian is nine. They are both troublemakers.
Other key family members: Melody is connected to the Cliffeton family, though her parents have tried to become independant from the family, finding it too restricting and ambitious.
Ceylonese Cliffeton is Melody's cousin, and they always got along, Ceylonese being a bit like a big sister to Melody. They always hung out together at family reunions. Ceylonese is also at Beauxbatons.

Interests/hobbies: Melody used to do gymnastics, but gave that up. She still enjoys playing her guitar and singing once in a while, but only when she's by herself. Melody has always loved the water, andbeing in and around it. Growing up in Hampshire, and Southern county of England, bordering the English Channel, meant that there were beaches close to where they lived.
What you might like to do after Hogwarts: She doesn't know yet, but once she takes classes it might give her an idea.
Someone you look up to: She isn't really the type of person that idolizes a certain person, but she does respect and look up to her cousin Ceylonese. Ceylonese has always been the 'Big sister' figure in Melody's life, and she's helped her with her boy problems.
