Meeting up.

Lauren hadn't been out in a while so she wanted to get out, a new change of scenery. She loved the castle but it was a bit crowded at times, which is no wonder since the school had a lot of students. Lauren hadn't seen her best friend in a while so the brightstone weekend was the perfect time to catch up. The last time Lauren and her best friend met was when they found a secret passageway, it had been a lot of fun and Lauren had only used it once.

She decided to send an owl to Immy since she didn't see her in between lessons or on the weekends in the castle.

Hi Immy,
I was wondering if you wanted to meet up in Brightstone? We haven't seen each other for ages so i thought it would be a good idea. Let me now somehow, send your answer back with this owl if you like. Hopefully i'll see you then.

Imogen had gotten the owl from Lauren, and soon as she had recieved, it she'd grabbed money and headed out the common room. She hadn't seen Lauren in a while and really wanted to see her best friend again. She hurried down Brightstone village. While the classes had been a lot of fun, the homework and general work had been piling up slightly and Imogen was getting the sensation of falling a little behind. Though, she thrust these thoughts aside to spend time with her friend. Spotting Lauren, Imogen broke into a small run and gave her friend a massive hug.

"Hey Lauren." Imogen said as she pulled from the hug.

Lauren smiled as she saw Immy coming towards her, and she opened her arms for a hug. She pulled away and said "Hey Immy. Good term so far?" she asked her best friend grinning. It was great seeing her after a long while, the only times she did get to see her was sometimes in transfiguration, but they couldn't talk then. She sat down ona grassy part of the land and motioned Immy to do so too.

Imogen nodded, it had really just been an alright term, but the lesson had been good enough to make a good term. She didn't know which classes she preferred. These ones or the ones before the holidays. She'd been a little more focused on the others than these ones. But still she didn't want to ruin her day by thoughts of work and school. Smiling brightly at her best friend.

"It's good, Hows yours?" Imogen said brightly. "What do want to do today?"

"It's going ok" she replied smiling. "I'm enjoying potions more than i thought i would" she said to Immy. Which was true she didn't think she would like it at all. She thought that she would hate it as much as she hated science at her muggle school. "I dont know. Maybe go into the village get an icecream?" she suggested to Immy happily. She hadn't tried the ice creams in brightstone before.

Imogen nodded excitedly. She didn't know if she'd tried it before. If she had then she didn't remember it too much. It was of course nice but Imogen just sometimes didn't remember things. Immy smiled at her friend.

"That sounds awesome," Imogen said brightly. "Shall we?" Immy said just beginning to walk in the direction of ice cream.

"Sure" Lauren said smiling. As she got up from the patch of grass she smoothed down her top and followed Immy to the path towards the village. "Have you had ice cream from here before?" Lauren asked Immy curiously, she didn't know whether her friend new brightstone better.

Imogen half nodded and half shrugged. She didn't really know. She couldn't really well. Maybe after she had tried the ice cream she would know. Remembering the taste might make her remember the last time she'd been.

"I might have, I can't really remember though." Imogen said smiling at her friend. "Have you?"

Lauren smiled "Nope, never really been into the village before" she said. She wasn't sure why but the idea of coming dwon never really appealed to her. But now she was in Brightstone she thought it was great, it was a great change of scenery too.

Imogen smiled and nodded. She hadn't been too often but it was nice to get a change in scenery from the usual grounds of hogwarts. Not that Imogen disliked them in anyway but it was just nice to get out and do something different. The ice cream place wasn't too far from where they had been standing so pretty soon Imogen could see the little place.

"It's just there." Immy said with a bright smile.

"Oh right excellent" Lauren said when Immy pointed out the shop. She made her way over to the shop and looked in the windows everything looked great.

I would, but there is no icecream shop in brightstone. There's only one in obsidan :S . Shall we go to Honeydukes instead?
