Old School Week Meet Me in Paris

As great as it had been to be back home for her last year of school, it hadn't taken more than a month before Katy was itching to travel to again. And now that she was able to apparate freely, she practically had the whole world at her fingertips once the holidays started. It had been one of the best incentive to get through her first semester without too much trouble, sending owls back and forth to Emilia and Simone to plan their meet up. And now here she was, taking in the Paris Winter and beaming as she waited for the others, her old Gryffindor scarf wrapped tightly around her neck.

Simon was so excited to see Katy again and couldn't wait to show her around Paris. She knew she was supposed to be meeting one of Katy's friends too but she spotted Katy first. She was still some distance away from her so she decided to use that to her advantage. Simone quickly closed the distance and grabbed her friend from behind in a fierce hug and spun her around a couple times before putting her down. "Katy!" she squealed as she got scarf shoved in her face.

Sorry for the late response
Emilia could hardly believe she had been invited to France with Katy, but she was definitely excited. She hadn't seen her friend in too long. She hoped things would still be good between them. Emilia spotted Katy and started to head over, just in time to see the other girl hug her. She had known Katy had invited another friend, so she waited for the hug to end before shyly greeting them. "Hi."

Katy let out a happy squeal when Simone appeared, squeezing her tightly back. There was still some lingering hurt with Simone being so far away, but it was easier to forget in the excitement of being here, in Paris, together. "Oh, Simone, this is Emilia. Emilia, Simone," Katy said, motioning between them. "You gotta show us all the cool places in Paris, okay?" She said to Simone, looping arms with both girls once they were introduced.

Simone grinned as a pretty blonde girl also approached them. “It’s an honor to meet you.” she said in french and bowed dramatically after Katy introduced them. “Of course!” she said excitedly and clapped her hands together. "You're finally in Paris! Only the best for my friends!" she said triumphantly and fell into step with the other girls.

Emilia grinned as Katy spotted her, and moved closer to the other girl. She was glad for the casual way Katy linked their arms, seeing it as a sign that things were normal between them. She took in the other girl, who seemed to be french. Emilia felt some panic as she responded in French, but thankfully she started speaking English after that. Emilia knew some French, but not a lot. "It's so nice to meet you, Simone." She said with a shy smile. "And we're lucky to have you to show us around."

"Ah, oui oui, mon ami," Katy said in her best French accent and giggling with Simone. Her heart fluttered a little when Emilia let her take her arm, but Katy was relieved that it hurt less now. The time and distance had helped, but Katy was pretty sure she'd still feel strongly for Emilia no matter what. "Yes, onwards to adventure. Where can we start? Notre Dame? The Louvre? Eiffel Tower?" Katy said, bouncing on her heels and starting to drag the group down a random road.
