Everything that Fayt did was for one reason and one reason only. He could bluntly tell the truth the next moment and be deathly calm and expressionless. He could be cruel and violent before switching to polite and friendly in a mere heartbeat. His mind changed faster than the wind, his past self battling with the new being which he was supposed to be. The carefree child that he once was already gone, leaving a lost child longing for a home and a family, and somebody who would hold him through the nightmares and ward off the demons from the dark.

Funny how things worked, though, for no matter how he really wanted to regain his old self, he would always return to that arrogant and rude him, funny how harsh reality was.

Fayt had no qualms when it came to protecting his sister, the biggest part of his life spent watching over her; it was all normal to him. Life is consisted of pain and suffering -this he had learned early on. Just as he had learned that only the strongest survived.

The day was dismal and boring as Fayt passed through it. Breakfast, studying, afternoon tea and more work. He decided that it would be better to do something, something that could probably entertain him. Anything will do really. Feeling quite drowsy, Fayt didn't realized that he was already at the place that was forbidden to students like him. Yet, since he was one who doesn't really mind breaking any rule, he decided to dig deeper into the forest. He then realized that there could really be something to entertain him there, being a parselmouth, he could speak the language of the snakes, that's actually one thing that he really like about himself. Sitting down under a huge tree, Fayt hissed in a snake like manner, calling out to anything around him, "show yourselves, now.." . It was any old day, and yet it felt odd to him.

With Adriana, things were always supposed to be at a constant. She had no exceptions for how she treated people. If she didn't like you, she didn't. That would never change, and it was the same sort of situation if she did like you. The girl never gave second chances, and she never apologized. Her father always said that pride would be her downfall. None the less the girl would never change. Possibly one day, but that day wasn't today. Adriana was this way because of her parents spoiling her rotten. No matter what she wanted she ended up getting one way or another. But hey, that wasn't this girl's fault.

Adriana herself was an only child. Little known to her, her parents were trying to adopt her a brother or sister. Older or younger, she or he would have to get along with Adriana if they even hoped to fit in the family. She was taught to help others, but place yourself above all else.

Through the day, it became quite tedious and uneventful. All she did was eat, do some homework, relax in the corridors, and try to take a nap. Walking around the grounds was always a favorite pastime. There she could think by herself and not have the quarrellings of other students ringing in her ear. Some people there, even the upperclassmen, were immature to say the least. Lost in her thoughts, she had wandered into the forbidden forest. And yet (because of her prideful nature) she didn't want to go back. Now completely into the forest, and lost, Adriana heard the snake-like noise and walked to it. Imagine her surprise when it wasn't a snake, but a boy! "What the hell?" She muttered in Spanish, looking at him with a raised brow. But then she went close to him and spoke in their common tongue, "...What was that?"

Fayt was taken back when he heard someone near him. He didn't expect it at all. After all, for all he knows, that place is off limits to students, and well, it's not like one would just wander around there at that time of the day after all. Furrowing his eyebrows as he heard the said person speak in a foreign tongue, Fayt cannot hep but to get annoyed yet surprised at the same time. He was just trying to have some fun, and yet, his secret place was discovered? It would have been better if it was someone whom he knew, or if it was his sister, yet, the girl who was standing before him was a new face, one whom he had no idea about.

Standing up, he looked at the girl straight into the eyes, his eyes showing curiosity and irritation. "What was that? Didn't you understand what I had said?" He said, forgetting that the language that he had used was actually one which is not understood by any normal people. "Forget it, " He then added as he remembered it finally, it was a secret of his, that he was a parselmouth, yet, because of this girl, his secret was now out.

Adriana blinked at the boy before her. He certainly wasn't normal per say. And yet he didn't seem to be a weirdo either. She could tell that he was a Slytherin just by his tone of voice, that much was clear. "Of course I didn't understand you. The only thing that would understand you would be some sort of animal!" The girl placed her hands on her hips and her head tilted to the side again. This seemed a little too weird to not ask what was going on. No matter the fact that she was raised by purebloods in a purist environment, she had no idea what a parselmouth was. Even so if she did, that was probably the one secret she would never tell... That is unless the boy got on her bad side.

She looked right back at him, eyebrow raised. After all most people didn't like making eye contact much either. It seemed like whoever he was, he was an original type of fellow. "Who are you anyway?" Adriana huffed softly, almost inaudibly. This seemed to be an interesting meeting. After all he just seemed... off.

Fayt frowned at the girl's response, he didn't like it at all. To him, it seemed like he was actually being compared to an animal, which pretty much annoys him. "An animal eh? then just forget what you had heard and saw, and leave already if you have no other business here" Fayt said, his arms crossed in front of his chest in a very domineering manner. He wasn't sure whether the girl would listen to him or whether she would spill his secret, she seemed like a slytherin like him too, so it would be really hard for him to avoid her even if he wanted to.

Fayt was actually a bit amused when the girl looked back right at him, it was after all, rare for someone to do that. Most people find it unnerving to look at someone straight into the eyes, they found it to be rather awkward because somehow, they feel that that person could tell whether they're lying or not. He had smirked when the girl asked for his name. As if he'll say it that easily. "Why would I say my name to a stranger who had just happened to go here?" He said, eyes narrowed as he waited impatiently for the girl to answer.

"I wasn't saying that you were an animal, if that was what you were implying." Adriana rolled her eyes and matched his stature perfectly. "I was just saying that you sounded like an animal. Merlin, you get offended so easily! And I just found you here so don't tell me to leave!" That was the one thing that would get her upset. After all her parents had a habit of doing that to her. After dealing with that for eleven years of life, Adriana wasn't going to deal with it any longer. Plus, this boy had no leverage with her. They were the same age, so he wasn't an upperclassman or anything along the lines of that.

Adriana huffed at the boy again, frustrated that he wouldn't answer her. "Because I want to know your name so if you annoy me enough I'll know who annoys me so much." That was good enough logic for her, and she hoped that at least that much would get the boy to comply. But by the looks of it it wouldn't. Though this was a bit of an interesting meeting, and maybe this was just a case of butting personalities. Sometimes people would at first not get along and then become friends. But was that the case now? Adriana hadn't the slightest of clues.

Fayt just shrugged his shoulder at what the girl had said, sure enough, she does have a point, she didn't really tell him that he was an animal right? It was just his own hasty assumptions, which most of the times, gets him into trouble. "If you don't want to leave, then don't, I'm not going to waste y energy to force you to get out of this place.." Fayt said, sitting down once again. He didn't own the place, so, what if the girl would stay? It didn't matter at all, right? And besides, he just have to make sure to keep her quiet.

Fayt smirk when the girl huffed at him, he could see that she was getting frustrated, and it pretty much entertains him, sadistic is he not? "Tell me your name first, then I'll tell you mine.." Fayt said, his voice albeit a little too arrogant for him, and too self-centered too. That's one of the things that is not so good about him, no matter how he tries, he was still a child, he still had this tendency to be self-centered, and it annoys him.
