Andy walked across the lawn of the castle, his face buried in a map of the castle and the grounds, there was alot of scribble on it and there was a big circle around Ravenclaw tower, that was the only safe place to be, all the other places were too dark, too wet, too cold or too high. Andy knew that Ravenclaw tower was high up but if he stood in the centre then he wouldn’t realise, but in order to feel safe he had to get there first. However Andy did not realise that the map he was reading and marking was in fact upside-down, so instead of going towards the safety of the Ravenclaw Tower, he was going to the dangers of the Forbidden Forest. It took Andy several minutes to realise his horrible error, after falling over a branch and rolling down a hill nearly breaking his leg.

Andy looked around him, it took his brain several seconds to realise that he was in dirt, near water in a bowl like area. Not to mention that it was dark and creepy. Andy could hear twigs snap around him every now and then which made his poor brain go into horrified over-drive. When you are surrounded by half a dozen of your worst fears the only thing the under developed 11 year old could to was scream. Very loudly. Ravenclaws and Slytherins alike could hear the ear splitting scream from their common rooms. Andy curled himself up and held his shaky, thin frame together and hoped that someone would come find him. Hopefully they would have some ice-cream and chocolate too.

Camille sighed as she walked around the grounds of the castle. She honestly had no idea where she was actually going but she was enjoying the fresh air none-the-less. As she walked around she laughed slightly as she noticed a small figure heading into the Forbidden Forest. She was not surprised really, there was a lot of mystery shrouded around the forest and Camille wasn’t surprised to find that some people liked to find out what the mystery was. She shook her head as she turned away from the Forest and headed back the Castle. She actually had to find some books that her mother had asked her to look at while she was there.

However, as Camille was about to head back she heard an ear splitting scream that seemed to have come from the Forbidden Forest. Had that figure gotten into trouble? Camille didn’t know but she just had to turn and run to the scream. If the person was in trouble she knew she could do nothing to help. But if they weren’t then she would look stupid for crying for help. So in a moment of shear insanity Camille ran into the Forbidden Forest to find the person whom had screamed.

As she ran she suddenly found herself rolling down a hill and landing in mud. She also found herself having sat on a young boy. Infact, apart from the fact that he was wearing Ravenclaw robes, Camille could have sworn that he was eight or nine, not ten or eleven. Getting off of the boy she cocked her head to look at him. “Oh, hello, I’m Camille, Who are you?” She asked as she reached down to help him up. Both were covered in mud from head to toe. “How old are you? Do you really go to school here? Are you even ten?” She asked as she looked around to find a map of the castle lying in the small bowl they had fallen into.

“Are you ok? Do you need some help?” She asked as she tried to find a way back up to the castle. “Why did you scream?” She asked. “Oh hey, do you want some chocolate, I have some in my robes here if you like” she added. She was asking an awful lot of questions to the young boy. She was sure she was annoying him. Infact, she decided that she should probably shut up at that moment.

Andy was pushed onto his face by someone falling onto his small body. Andy was not a big kid so this really hurt him as he felt the crushing weight of whoever landed on him. Andy let the young girl help him up, even though she was scary in a way. Andy was scared of nearly everything and red was one of them, so was mammals. At the moment the girl was wearing red and she was obviously a mammal. Andy brushed himself off carefully before answering the girl named Camille. “Hello Camille,” He said in a slightly shaky voice, he was petrified and lost. “Do you make a habit of squishing people?” He asked carefully, pulling a disgusted face when he further examined his robes, finding that they were covered in mud. Another thing that Andy was scared of. Andy sighed inwardly when she questioned him on whether he was supposed to be here and whether he was in fact ten, in actual fact he was eleven. “Yes I go to school here, Im eleven.” He said, not telling the girl his name.

Andy stared at the girl, he wasn’t being rude. He just couldn’t believe her, wasn’t it obvious that he needed help? People don’t scream in dark forests because they can, they scream because they are petrified and need help. “Yes Camille I do need help, and yes I did scream, because I need help. I don’t mean to be rude or anything but are you here to help me or question me?” He asked, quietly. Andy was trying to listen out for any noises that could mean danger, maybe a little too much. Andy tilted his head slightly at the suggestion of chocolate. Andy feared eating because it was a scary thing to him so he tried to avoid eating as much as possible. But chocolate was a very different thing, chocolate was chocolate and he held it close to his heart. “What kind?” He asked. Andy secretly hoped that they were golden wrapped Ferrero Rochers, they were his favourite.

Camille bit her lip as she looked at the oddly smallish boy. She felt more like she should be protecting him and not questioning him. She actually felt weird looking at him. He was pale and thin and he seemed to be too small. Camille could see the signs of neglect there, she wondered if he was physically ok. She ignored it for now as she didn’t know him. If she was wrong about the neglect she could hurt him, or offend him so she kept her mouth shut. At least for now. When he asked her if she made a habit of squishing people Camille shrugged and cringed. “I really am sorry, I honestly didn’t see you. Well actually I did see you come wandering into the Forbidden forest I was actually heading back to my dormitory when I heard you because I was still outside the doors and then I heard this screaming and I came running though I knew that I wouldn’t be able to help if it was something dangerous but I couldn’t just leave you there because you could have been hurt and to be honest I thought that you were one of the Professor’s kids because you were so tiny but now that I know you’re not it makes it a little easier.” Camille rambled without a breath. When she had finished she took the deepest breath of her life. When the boy pulled a disgusted face, she tilted her head. “Um, are you ok?” She asked as she watched him examining his robes. He seemed to not like the mud, or something. He told her that he was eleven, but he didn’t look it so it was hard for her to believe him. “I’m sorry, really I am, it’s just that you don’t look it is all.” She said as she fixed her hair.

Camille noticed that the boy had not mentioned his name. She wondered if it was purposeful or accidental. She had met some-one once and they had both forgotten to mention their names. They had become great friends never noticing that they hadn’t known each other’s names. Eventually her mother had asked her what her new friends name was and she couldn’t remember, that was how she had then learnt that the girls name was Marie. She shook her head at the memory. As the boy stared at her. She wondered why he was staring. Though, she had just asked him if he needed help and it was kind of obvious that he did so perhaps that is why he was staring. “Again I am sorry, but it was a harmless question really. You could have screamed simply because you fell and already know how to get out. I was only being polite. And I don’t care if you don’t mean to be rude, because you are and I don’t appreciate it.” She said as she turned away from him and crossed her arms tightly over her chest. As soon as she mentioned chocolates the boy seemed to brighten up a little. Perhaps he wanted chocolate? Well he was not going to get any of her golden wrapped Ferrero Rochers if he didn’t apologise. “They are Ferrero Rochers, my favorite chocolate and you will not get any unless you apologise for being rude and tell me your name.” She bargained.

Andy watched the girl as she rambled. Camille reminded him of his older cousin who could never shut up. It was rather comforting in a way but could turn into a problem. “You talk a lot.” He commenting, not in a bad way, in a ‘just pointing out the obvious’ way. “Dont worry Im fine.” It was ironic that Andy was telling someone to not worry, considering that he himself was a very worrisome person and worried about the simplest of things. Andy nodded, once he met a girl on the beach and she thought that he was a lost little boy, turned out he was several months her senior. “Im used to it, I have gone through worse.” Andy had always been a small boy and so he missed out on many things, going on rides at the theme park, spending time with other kids his age, other than his cousins and even joining races and such. Life was annoying looking young yet many older women wanted to be young again, Andy thought it was the worst thing to look younger.

Andy noticed that Camille apologised too often, it was a bad trait for someone to have, it was good to apologise when you are in the wrong but to continually apologise could turn an already tense situation worse. Andy tilted his head, like a little lost puppy. Having mud on his face, his blonde hair sticking up and his blue eyes seeming to shine made his face even more puppy-like. “Camille you shouldn’t apologise so much, some people get really angry when you continually apologise.” He explained, forgetting that she called him rude. Andy tended to not realise if someone had just insulted him, he was always too preoccupied with something else, like trying to not catch a cold, try to stand on his two feet without falling and breaking something and so on. It took several minutes for Andy to realise that Camille had just referred him as rude. This hurt Andy, he always tried so hard to not be rude but sometimes he didn’t realise. Andy frowned, he was not going to apologise because as soon as he started apologising he couldn’t stop, and he didn’t realise that he hadn’t given her his name. It was not an overly nice name but people seemed to love it and say that it suited him. What annoyed Andy more was that Ferrero Rochers were his favourite sweet, well only if they were golden wrapped. “My name is Andrew Hydran.” He told her. “But I am not going to apologise, or I will not stop.” He explained quietly.
