Open Making Who Jealous?

Shane wasn’t really the type to try too hard for a celebration, but he had for once decided to. He wore a second hand army outfit and on his head was a crown. He could be a regel prince as he spoke to the people around the hall and tried to flirt with as many of them as possible. He wanted to just have a little bit of fun and hopefully have some fun with someone, he was supposed to be attending this with only Charlotte but he also wanted to have more fun than that, so he’d see. The boy had a neutral expression sitting on his face as he made his way to the hall. Halloween was a celebration where so often people were pretending to be something they were not, and that was certainly something Shane managed quite well. He reached where so many of the other students were and let a more flirty smile form on his features, he winked at a few of the younger girls as he passed, his head held high and a determination in his step as if trying to be more of a prince. To become more like the costume he was wearing. The teen walked into the great hall and eventually got himself a drink. He couldn’t spot charlotte yet and he was not going to just wait at the entrance for her. She could come find him. Shane could just stand around and look at all of the different people. ​

Charlotte was even more angry right now, when she had spoken to Simon in their study sessions. He really was asking her for advice to ask out Diana, was he insane?! Ofcourse Charlotte had told him not too, but she was hoping Simon did this all for her to make her jealous. But how Diana seemed to be reaction on it didn't seemed like she was acting. And the game was on for sure. Charlotte her number one enemy right one was that stupid daughter of the Minister and she didn't cared who it was where she came from or how she looked Charlotte was gonna make sure she would be crushed and that she would stay away from Simon. But what he did she could do also so she had been asking Shane to come along with her to to halloween feast and he did. She could show Simon that he wasn't there alone for her. And she kind of thought Shane wasn't as stupid as most of the persons. But she saw right through him. She had a feeling he was just doing it for attention or something, and she was fine with that. As long as it helped her. The blonde hated to put on ugly suits or dresses to be scary or something. She wanted to look good everytime and that was why she had chosen to put on some elegant but black clothes. It kind of said in which mood she was. Secretly she thought it of as funeral clothes and she pictured it inside her mind right now. But she just pretended to be a rich girl, well that was no pretend but truth. The blonde walked towards the hallway and tried to see if she spotted Simon or Diana somewhere, or worse together. He than spotted Shane after a while and wondered why he just waited on her on the entrance, that was way easier. But when she got closer she put on her charming smile. A prince he was. Good choice she figured. '' Hey.. Is that my prince waiting for me?''' Charlotte than said with a grin and played along. He could flirt so she could as well. The blonde than grabbed a drink too. '' Cheers! To a Great Evening.'' She than said and put her glass towards the one from Shane.

Shane looked at her and smiled with a little flirty smile at her, ”Of course!” he said with a little mock bow. He looked at her, and trying to figure out what the girl was dressed as. She looked pretty somber, in all black, but she did look pretty good. She looked very elegant. The hufflepuff took the drink as it was handed to him by her. He cheered his drink with her, ”Cheers,” the boy winked lightly at her as he took a sip of the drink that he had. It was nice, this event would be quite nice, ”Would you want to dance? Or you rather we just get straight to kissing or something?” he held out his hand to her and smirked at her. The boy knew he’d been invited to spend time with her because she was trying to get back at someone. That she didn’t necessarily like him that much, enough that they could hang out and spend time like this. But it didn’t bother him, he was flirting with her as much as he could, and he was also happily flirting and spending time with others. So this was entirely fake. He would do what he needed, Shane didn’t care that much.​

Charlotte tried to see where Simon was and as what he would be dressed up like. Mostly they met up together in the Great Hall but this year it was different. She than looked back at Shane and smiled as he answered with what she wanted to hear. The blonde smiled back as he seemed to be enjoying so far too. The question of the boy made her eyebrows frown a bit, but he was not afraid to try and achieve something and Charlotte mostly enjoyed people being bold. '' Let's save the last for the best right? Glad to see that you are excited.'' Charlotte than stated and grinned for a moment. She wasn't easily getting kissed. He had to earn it still. And he knew that she was using him and it didn't bothered him at all it seemed. That was perfect. '' We have to get closer to the redhead first. So we can go on the dancefloor for sure.'' The blonde than explained and grabbed the boys hand and dragged him to the dancefloor.

Shane smirked at her, ”Oh, not even a kiss on the cheek? A little incentive you know?” he flirted easily, but he was largely joking with her, he didn’t actually expect anything but he was just having a little bit of fun. Joking around with her. If he was having to go to events with someone specific and half pretend to be with her then he would at least have some fun with it. He knew who she was looking for, the prefect in question was exceedingly cute, Shane definitely would kiss him but from what he’d heard the boy definitely didn’t swing Shane’s way. He glanced around for the boy before he felt Charlotte grab his hand and drag him to the dance floor. He stopped where she eventually did, ”You shouldn’t look for him, let him find you,” Shane offered as he put his hands on her waist to dance with her, he made sure they were standing relatively close. ”If he spots you, you don’t want to make it seem like you’re looking at him, right?” Shane was trying to give her half decent advice while also looking for ways in which he could have a good time too and hopefully use this to make some other people interested in him. He didn’t really care about how Charlotte went about it, or whatever vendetta she had. ​

Charlotte didn't saw the redhead still and she got frustrated. In classes she saw him directly and when he walked pass the hallways, his hair was something you could not miss and what she kind of liked. But when Shane was acting all flirty and challenging Charlotte looked back and gave her attention to please him. '' We shall see.'' Charlotte than said and didn't want her first kiss to be Shane. But perhaps it was necessary and why did she put so much emotion to it to a first kiss, it wasn't like it was there for ever. She could easily forget it. She grinned and listened at what he had to say. He was kind of right though, but she was afraid he got stuck in the claws of Diana. And than he put his hands on her waist and Charlotte raised a eyebrow. Really he had no shame, but it was kind of the person she needed and he did everything she asked so far. He even wanted to think of a way how to get back at Styx. '' Your kind of right. But he is in the claws of a stupid girl.'' The blonde was certain that Simon and Diana came together since Simon had been talking about it in the library. And that did drive Charlotte crazy. It was like he wanted this reaction from her, and perhaps he did all this to make her jealous. But he never really said that he liked her, so she could imagine this all. But the connection they had was just really special, and she believed that Simon and her belonged together after all. But she didn't want to make the first step, she was too afraid of him rejecting her. The boy had to do the work and Charlotte wanted someone who fighted for her. But she could cheat a bit by eliminate Diana at first. When Charlotte looked closer to the right she noticed Simon and Diana and she felt her blood boiling. She than put the hands Shane had on her waist down and took his hand quickly and dragged him to the dancefloor. '' We are gonna dance. Are you a good dancer? You better be.'' Charlotte than said to Shane and smiled charmingly.
