Rosalina found herself not in the best of moods this morning. "When dad see's my grades, I'm dead." Rosalina looked back down at the sheet of parchment containing the source of her displeasure. Dark brown eyes the color of mud narrowed before a tiny hand shot out to crumple of the piece of parchment. It was only her first year and Rosalina found herself struggling to keep up with homework and all of her skills. Not only was Rosalina frustrated, but she was also disappointed with herself. Gracelynn and Tanner had always made school look so easy and fun. So far the young Gryffindor had yet to see school be either of those things for her. Her dad was going to ground her for life! He was already stressed enough with the divorce going on, having one of his kids failing school was not going to make him the friendly dad he used to be.
"This is lame." Tossing the crumpled piece of parchment, Rosalina shouldn't have been surprised to see it fly into a pitcher of pumpkin juice and knock it over, the liquid quickly spilling out onto the table and soaking her uneaten plate of breakfast within seconds. "Ah!" Rosalina quickly leaned over and pick it up. Defeated at the mess she had made, Rosalina slumped back down and let her head fall onto the table. "I think I need a tutor." As much as she hated to admit it, she needed help. However, her pride was likely going to get in the way. Rosalina had difficulty expressing herself, and had even more difficulty asking for help when she needed it. Tanner had always told Rosalina that it rarely paid off to be prideful. Not that he could talk, he could be more pigheaded than she was at times.
