Eloise couldn't wait for her turn at Hogwarts. Before she knew it, it wouldn't be long until the school year would be ending and Eloise would be able to see her brother again. Maybe she could pester him with questions about Hogwarts so she knew what she was prepared for before she went to Hogwarts herself in a few months. For now, all she could do was wait, but she had been growing impatient about it all. Her mother had to do some errands, and Eloise and her siblings were dragged along for it. Eloise didn't really want to, if she was being honest, she was more excited about what she was going to do to prepare herself for Hogwarts than doing errands. So while her mum and the rest of her siblings were dragged around Obsidian Harbour, Eloise decided to make her way to the wand shop. It was one of the things she was most excited about. She couldn't wait to finally get her hands on her wand. Eloise stood at the wand shop window, staring into the store with delight, her hands pressed against the store window with curiosity.

Zeke has become separated from his brother in Obsidian Harbour but he didn't mind, he'd had enough talking about Quidditch that he wanted a change of scene anyway. He started down the street with no particular destination in mind and past the wand shop where a girl was looking in, her hands pressed against the glass. She looked to be Zeke's age and probably starting at Hogwarts in September too, "Not long now." Zeke commented as he was passing her.

Eloise jumped at the sudden voice that had passed her, unaware of how long she had been peering into the store for. The girl took a second to process what the boy had said before grinning excitedly. "Yup! Not long! I'm excited," Eloise says excitedly with a smile. She had been thinking of endless scenarios of her time at Hogwarts in her head making her more excited for her time to come. "Are you going to Hogwarts this year as well then?"

Zeke blinked in surprise when the girl jumped, he hadn't really expected a big reaction from her. He smiled when she said she was excited. Zeke was excited too but he wasn't the peering through shops waiting for the day sort of excited, he was much more chilled about it. "Yeah we'll be classmates," he told her, "What's your name?"

Eloise was glad to also be meeting someone who was going to be in the same year as her, as she was heading into Hogwarts. She didn't really know anyone else going in aside from her brother, which was nice. "That's cool! I wonder what Hogwarts is going to be like," Eloise says with wonder and a smile. Sure, she heard bits and pieces from her brother, but it wasn't really going to be the same until she experienced it all herself. "I'm Eloise, what's yours?"

Zeke had a good memory for names for some reason and knew that he would not forget Eloise's name even once they were both at Hogwarts. "Nice to meet you Eloise, I'm Zeke." He answered her, "I've only seen the castle from a distance when I've been in Brightstone Village and heard stories from family who go there, but it sounds amazing, I can't wait to go."

Eloise was happy to know the name of this boy, and he seemed nice at least. "You have family members at Hogwarts too? I have an older brother who's there at the moment," Eloise says, finding at least another thing in common with Zeke. "Have they told you anything interesting about Hogwarts at all?" Eloise asked curiously. She wondered what current and past students of Hogwarts told other and upcoming students about Hogwarts.

Zeke's cousin had told him a fair bit about Hogwarts but he didn't want to share too much with a girl he'd just met. "My cousin says the food's good.” He answered to give her something without coming across as coy. If he said too much he might share details he shouldn't have, or even get to school and find out it wasn't true in the first place. “Thats cool what house is he? I've got my twin coming too. He's around here somewhere." He looked around briefly but didn't see him.

Eloise found what he had said disappointing... That didn't seem interesting at all. Food is food. That sounded like one of the most boring statements she had ever heard. "Oh, that's it?" Eloise questions, trying her best to hide the disappointment and boring statement. She smiled a little when Zeke had asked about her brother's house. "Oh, he's in Gryffindor! I think it would be cool to be sorted with him, but I don't think that house is for me. Is there a house you'd like to be sorted into?" Eloise says with a shake of her head. While she did like the idea of being in the same house as her brother, she wasn't really sure if she matched being in Gryffindor. "You have a twin? What's that like?"

Teddy was just passing through.

Zeke laughed, "Well yeah. Would you prefer if the food wasn't good?" Zeke replied, teasing her with a grin. "I don't know, my family seem to be placed all over the place. Gryffindor doesn't sound too bad though. Which house do you think is for you?" Zeke raised an eyebrow at the twin question, to him it was such a normal thing until questions reminded him otherwise. "It's good company like, we're identical, which is fun for pranks."
