Zodiac sign

Sign: Aries.
Element: Fire.
Ruling planet: Mars.
Symbol: The Ram.
Stone: Ruby.
Life pursuit: The thrill of the moment.
Aries secret desire: To lead the way for others.
Description:
Aries are fire signs and those born under this element are regarded in astrology as adventurous, active and outgoing. It won't matter where you go or how remote or unusual it is - from the Outback to the Antarctic - you can be sure that an Aries has been there before you (or at the very least you will meet one along the way!) Aries is a uniquely naive sign. Although they are independent, outgoing and assertive they are also surprisingly trusting, often innocently walking into the lion's den at times. No matter what upheaval, challenge or triumph they confront - an Aries has a wonderful ability to bounce back. Their faith in life and the future remains untouched by hardship. Their gift is that they are always children at heart and the world is always a magical place for them. Many famous sports people are born under this sign. Aries is regarded as the most physical sign and because of its Mar's rulership; it is also one of the most highly charged masculine energy signs in astrology. No wonder women born under Aries are forceful, dynamic and aggressive, and as a result these Aries women frequently find themselves with dilemmas surrounding their romantic relationships. For them, a man has to be a 'real man' to deal with an Aries woman, otherwise she intimidates him. And conversely for the Aries male, a woman has to be a real woman to deal with him, because he is looking for many balancing component traits (his true feminine side) in his partner. She has to run the gamut in his support system, from the Aries man's best friend, true companion, through to his muse, and yet she must never ever answer him back!

Therefore Aries can be a confusing sign because there is a complex combination of very strong masculine and feminine expressions all combined together. Because of the male energy surrounding it, when a woman is born under Aries, it creates some of the most interesting women in the world, women who are adventurous, independent and have competitive natures. It also tends to make them very forthright.

But whether male or female, Aries people are 'doers' rather than 'talkers'. They are the impulsive, act first, ask questions or have doubts later, sign of the zodiac. That's why their lives are often filled with many dramas and sometimes even accidents! Their ability to live life close to the edge provides them with a wealth of 'real experience' to call upon. When an Aries person talks about something or somewhere they've usually done it or been there, rather than simply read about it in a book. Being active people Aries can't adapt to any kind of restriction, particularly possessive relationships. They often travel to escape any feelings of being stuck or possessed. Aries people love challenges. In fact, if everything is running smoothly, they are quite capable of going out and doing something (sometimes quite foolish) to rock the boat. Aries love to race in where angels fear to tread.

Appearance

Eye colour: Dark brown with green specks.
The dark brown was inherited from her Father's eyes. Her Mother had green eyes, which most likely gave her the small green flecks in her irises.
Hair colour: A reddish brown colour.
Her Mother's hair was dark brown, with a tint of red, and her Father's was dark brown. She seems to have inherited more of her Mother's hair colour than her Father's. She likes the colour red anyway.
Hair style: Lynette hair is naturally straight.
Lynette often curls her hair, and also sometimes uses extensions. Her parents feel she is too young to do this, but she's too sneaky for them to stop her.
Height: Lynette is 5"2
Weight: 119 lb
Fashion:
Tee-shirts. Lynette doesn't know where she'd be without tee-shirts, and they are her life saver. She absolutely hates long sleeved tops, though jumpers are fine. Her favourite colour shirt is dark blue, but it doesn't really match her hair, and she often ends up wearing white or pale blue colours instead. She prefers a v-neck shirt, but isn't fussy so long as it has short sleeves.
Jeans. Another life saver for Lynette. Whilst she doesn't mind wearing trackies every now and then, her favourite type of trousers are definately jeans, more specifically in a dark colour, and skinny. Again, her family thinks she is too young to wear these clothes, but Lynette desperately wants to grow up as fast as possible.
Ankle socks. Lynette really hates long socks, even if they go past her ankle, and therefore must wear ankle socks or no socks. It's a little rule she made up for herself. Her favourite sock pattern is stripes, though spots are her second favourite. She also has a habit of wearing odd socks, which people can find amusing. She really can't be bothered to find the correct pairs, and never has.
Hoodies. Whilst she hates long sleeved tee-shirts, Lynette loves wearing hoodies, especially with her skinny jeans. Her favourite hoodie colour is green, as it makes her hair stand out more. This is more her wintery clothing, as it's too hot in the summer, and instead she would just wear her shirt.
Dresses. Lynette thinks she would die without at least one dress in her wardrobe. She loves dressing up, and so she has a small collection of fun clothes to wear when nobody else is around. She is excited about going to the yule ball in the future, just so she can wear a nice dress and not look strange for walking around in it.
Jewelery. The only jewelery Lynette wears is a small purple rubber wrist band, which she rarely takes off, as she finds it 'comfy'. It's another weird thing that Lynette seems to do.</SIZE>

Personality

Lynette is a quiet and shy girl who is also extremely smart. She prefers to be on her own due to a strange troublesome problem which means that she will either blend all of her words into one, or hardly speak at all, which she finds embarassing and so she would rather be alone where she doesn't have to talk at all. However, in front of people she knows well, or somehow feels comfortable with even though they've just met, she'll talk absolutely fine, except for the occasional speed-talking, which her friends get used to understanding. She's very clever, and comes top of her class in most subjects, which is why she's looking forwad to her classes at Hogwarts. She is sometimes teased for being a 'teachers pet', but she can brush rude comments off without much trouble and forget about them within a few minutes. She tries to be friendly even with people who obviously think she's nutty, which often leads to them thinking she's even stranger than they had originally thought.
Lynette will go a long way to help her friends, and they really respect her for this. Her friends can look past her strange traits and really understand the girl within longing to get out. Lynette finds she is extremely clumsy, and usually at the wrong moment too, feeling embarassed and awkward from the slightest things which wouldn't usually affect other people. She hates feeling this way, but doesn't know how to overcome this.
Lynny is not one for adventure, and she'd rather live in one room for her whole life than explore the world. She's good at getting lost, and does this frequently, which will not be handy when she had to find her classrooms at Hogwarts, but she's sure that she'll remember the way around eventually, and is willing to go around with a friend who knows the castle like the back of their hand to help her remember.
Lynette can be rather forgetful at times, though she's usually alright there. She'll forget some things before five minutes have passed, but this usually only happens on those bad days. She's always full of energy, and it's bursting to come out, but she doesn't know how to let it out without seeming strange. She's looking forward to quidditch as this sport will help her get all of her energy out, and therefore relax a little and maybe start feeling better in herself generally.
Lynette is one of those 'If a scab has nearly healed, I have to pick it' girls, and she's regularily called a cheeky whatsit by her Father. She also seems to be prone to colds and most other illnesses. If there's something going around the school, Lynny will surely catch it.

History

Born in the small town of Colwyn Bay, at 2 am on Sunday 21st March 2017, Lynette was named in the hospital two hours after she was born. Orginially, her parents had decided to call her Sam, but when she was born they had both admitted that she didn't really look much like a Sam after all, and had gone with the name that she liked, as it was of a Welsh origin and she was from Wales. Her father chose her middle name, Anna. She wasn't christened for several months due to her parent's beliefs, but was finally christened on the 11th June 2017, Lynette Anna Ferguson. Her Mother's pregnancy had gone fairly smoothly, though she was born two weeks premature, to everyone's surprise, as the whole families pregnancies had always been exactly on their due dates. At this point, Dawn, Lynette's mother, had wanted to move away from the town she had grown up in and move away, but due to the problem of money, and the hassle of having a very young baby and moving house at the same time being a very big brick wall for them, and so they stayed put in their small cottage near the coast. Dawn had been a little over-excited about her first child, buying extravagant toys and furniture for the nursery. Andrew, Lynette's father, had been a little angry at first to have come home from his daily work at the pub to find that Dawn had spent their month's earnings on Lynette, but he softened when he realized it was only because she cared, though he still thought they would be spoiling her. Dawn hadn't had a great childhood, and wanted to give Lynette one that was twice as exciting to make up for it.

In Lynette's first years, she was bought up as a normal, muggle child, though her parents obviously knew different, being magical themselves. At the age of 5, she still had no idea about the wizarding world, as her parents had sworn to secrecy of this until Lynette was 10. She attended an ordinary primary school, although she had really hated it there, and so her parents had sent her to a private school with only a few students. They wanted her to grow up normally, but they also didn't want Lynette to be unhappy. All they wanted was what was best for her, and that was what they would strive to do until they suceeded. Lynette made many friends at her private school, and was very upset when she had to move school at the age of 7 due to a fire which broke out at the school with all the students in it. One of Lynette's best friends, Diana, died in the fire, and Lynette spent months withdrawn from everyone else whilst she mourned her death. She couldn't believe how it felt to lose somebody she was so close to, and from then on was constantly worrying about her parents dying.

On Lynette's tenth birthday, undoubtebly, her parents were rather excited about letting her know the entire truth. They'd sat her down on the wintery morning and explained, in detail, everything, and actually expected her to believe it straight away. She'd replied, before they could finish telling her everything, 'Yeah, and santa's real', and had walked off. Her parents were distraught, but she finally actually believed them when strange things started happening to her, and only finally completely believed them on her eleventh birthday when she recieved her hogwarts letter. At first, she had thought it was another trick her parents were playing on her, but it seemed that everything was real after all, and she started to open her mind a little and try to believe the idea that there was another life out there for her, where she could put her intellect to good use, instead of wasting it away on a 'muggle' life like everybody else had to.

Family

Mother: Dawn Rosanna Hearth (Maiden name). Aged 35. Married to Andrew. Shopkeeper. Half blood.
Personality:
Dawn grew up with a difficult childhood, and her parent's were very poor people. For this reason, she tends to want to spoil her children as much as she can to give them a happier start to life than she had. She can be a bit of a nag, but she and Lynette will often have a laugh with each other, and they know what each other are thinking very well. They've always been there for each other, and Dawn hopes that she can be a very helpful mother to Lynette when she grows up.

Father: Andrew George Ferguson. Aged 36. Is married to Dawn. Works in a pub. Mixed blood.
Personality:
Andrew is quite a strict man, but he takes pride in telling people about his children. He'd very family orientated, and wants to spend time with his children, and also can't bear to think about them growing up. He only wants what is best for them, and he's not sure that Dawn's approach is quite right - however he loves her, and he does not judge people, and so he's never doubet Dawn's capability to raise their children. He's at work most of the day, but he and Lynette do get along well when they're both at home.

Brother: Daniel George Ferguson. Aged 8. Is a student. Mixed blood.
Personality:
Daniel is a typical little brother. He's a cheeky young lad who always tries to blame Lynette for everything he does. Truthfully though, he's a wimp, and will go running to Lynette whenever he needs a shoulder to cry on, and despite their differences, Lynette will always be there for him. He's looking forward to going to hogwarts in the future, and wants to be in Gryffindor because it's for 'brave' people, whereas he'll probably actually get into Hufflepuff, as he's a complete softie inside.

Grandmother (Mother's side): Harriet Gwendolyn Mason (Maiden). Aged 78. Retired. Pure blood.
Personality:
Harriet was bought up in a very poor household, and was also a very poor woman herself, who didn't work due to her mental health problem which still hasn't been properly diagnosed, however it stops her from functioning properly. However, she does talk and gets along very well with Lynette. She's grateful for even the smallest of things, and loves her husband to bits, as he's the one who looks after her day in day out. He bought the money into the household, and she doesn't know where she'd be without him.

Grandfather (Mother's side): Gregory Charles Hearth. Aged 80. Retired. Muggle born.
Personality:
Gregory is a man with the kindest of hearts, and he'll do everything he can for his family. He loves his ill wife Harriet to pieces. He gets along well with Lynette, having had no siblings himself. He loves joking around, much to the families annoyance, but the can forgive him for it, as they understand he's been through a hard life, and they'll let him tell silly jokes as much as he likes. His hearing seems to be going a little, which can also aggrivate the family, but he insist's he's fine. He's a hard worker.

Grandmother (Father's side): Deceased.

Grandfather (Father's side): Deceased.

Secrets

Claustrophobia: Not many people know, unless they have worked it out themselves (Because Lynette doesn't even realize herself yet), but Lynette is claustophobic. She finds it hard to tell anybody how she's feeling because she's worrying they'll think she's pathetic or going crazy for thinking like that.
Diana: Lynette has never told anybody (Except her family, who found out from other means), that her best friend died in a fire at her private school, and she never plans to tell anybody either, as she's sure she'll burst into tears with just one mention of the name. If somebody happens to say Diana, she'll have to hold back her emotions.
Tears: She once made a promise to herself, quite a few years back, that she'd never cry again, and so far, so good.

Hogwarts life

Unsorted RP:

Lynette wiped her shaking, sweaty palms on her cloak as the 'A's were called up to be sorted. She knew it wouldn't take long for her name to be called out, especially as her surname began with F. She ran her fingers nervously through her hair as she smiled sheepishly at her friend, who would have to wait a long time to be sorted. Lynny wasn't sure if she was trembling with fear or excitement - or even a bit of both, but she sat on her hands to stop them from wobbling. The people next to her were being called up. It wouldn't be long now.

'Ferguson, Lynette!'

Lynette jumped up, surprising herself, and shuffled passed the other students, before slowly making her way up to the sorting stool. All eyes were on her, and Lynny wanted to run away from them all. Everybody was quiet, except a few murmurs from what seemed to be the hopeful Slytherin's at the back of the class. Lynny tried not to roll her eyes as she perched precariously on the small stool. The sorting hat was placed on her head, and she swallowed back her fear. What if they put me in Slytherin? Lynette's mind raced as the sorting hat began to spoke.

Wand

Apple Wand 13 1/2" Essence of Belladonna

30wb0yg.jpg

The perfect wand for the budding potioneer, while not powerful in powerful and masterful spells, its perfect for those that enjoy the laid back life and always for the wizarding chef. Its core is just the right thing for potion charming and will make a best friend of those that treat it with care. It can also be useful for those that are kind, loyal and friendly, as Apples personality reflects those properties. It is also very good for those that are quiet and shy.
