It had been a slow day for Kale, he attended Muggle Studies class and already finished his homework for the week. There wasn't really anything exciting or worthwhile going on today. There was only a couple of days before the Halloween Feast and Kale was already tired of having his school inhabited with two other schools. He also wasn't pleased with the chosen 'champions'.

Kale entered the garden with his book bag strapped over his left shoulder and his Emerald Streak on his other. There wasn't anyone else on the quidditch pitch so there wasn't much use in playing when no one else was around. Letting out a sigh, Kale lowered himself on one of the wooden benches that surrounded the fountain at the center of the garden. His nostrils were suddenly overwhelmed with an strong floral scents, it almost gave him a headache. Well, it is the garden, what else was I expecting? Kale set his broom on the ground next to him and placed his book bag on the bench next to him.

The garden was abandoned so that bashed his hopes in finding someone around to entertain him. Blake was spending the day with Lily so that was a given he wouldn't be around, and Bruin was most likely in one of his extra curricular classes. Slowly Kale reached into his bag and took out one of his shiny golden galleons. Kale flipped it in both of his hands before an idea occurred to him...yeah, it was a stupid idea. But the overall outcome would be a funny one.

Kale reached his hand into his bag a second time and removed a small tube of crazy glue. A devious smile played at the corners of his lips as he unscrewed the cap and began squeezing a couple of dots on the back of the galleon. He tried to remain incognito while placing the side of the galleon with the glue down on the bench. He had fallen for the trick numerous times before and thought the garden was the perfect place to play an innocent trick like the one he thought of just now.

Kailey had the day off and was taking full advantage of it, Her Ravenclaw side said to stay inside and do the make up work she had piled up but overall her Lazy side won over and she spent half of the day sleeping in her dormitory her homework long forgotten. I do my work better at night anyways. she thought as she slowly got up out of the comfy bed, changed into some dark jeans and a green tee shirt, grabbed her sapphire streak, and walked down the tower and out of the castle to enjoy some of the warmer weather before it became wet and snowy once again for the year.

She walked out to the quidditch pitch only to see nobody was there. While she could have easily flew around by herself Kailey decided to instead go in the garden for a little while. She hadn't been there at all this year that she could remember as of yet and she wanted to see for the plants were doing after so long. Getting some fruit from the fruit trees was also an added bonus. If they have any fruit left that is. she thought as she entered the garden.

She walked over to where she had planted the pear tree the year before and was pleased to see that it still had many big juicy pears on its limbs. She plucked one off of one of the lower limbs, turned around, and walked through out the garden looking around at all of the plants of different sizes shapes and colors as she nibbled on her pear. Wow...they ARE better plucked right off of the tree. she thought remembering her mom saying that as she had a mixed fruit orchard at her home when she was Kaileys age that had always been full of fruit when she came home for the summer.

She was thrown out of her thought upon seeing someone in the distance. She quickened her pace curious as to who else was in the garden. She saw a tall skinny boy with messy brown hair gluing what looked like Galleons to the bench near the entrance. "So do you always spend your free time gluing your money to benches then?" she asked jokingly.
