Lovely Rose

The commotion in the Great Hall during Valentine's Day was always a lot, and sometimes Patrick had no choice but to join it. He did not know at all who Andi Forstrom was and so made his way to the Gryffindor House table with the bright red rose held tightly in his hand, hoping he would be able to find her soon enough. People's names were being shouted in every direction and Patrick tried his best to shout out the name in his small voice. "A-Andi Forstrom!" he shouted, trying his best to be heard over everyone else.

Andi was annoyed by the commotion around the hall as roses were being delivered, and tried to drown out the sound of other students' names being called as she ate. It was to no avail but that was a good thing she soon realized as she heard her own name called somewhere nearby. Looking up from her food, Andi spotted a younger boy and quickly stood up to walk over to him. Trying to wave him over when the hall was so busy seemed more stressful than it was worth. "I'm Andi." She said simply, assuming this boy had a rose for her.​

As an older girl began making her way over to him, Patrick took a sigh of relief, happy that he was able to be heard. She said her name was Andi and that was exactly what Patrick wanted to hear. He began to search for her rose which wasn't that hard as it was the only red rose in the basket and handed it over to her. A small note was attached to it. "This is yours. It's a red rose." Patrick said, immediately regretting stating the obvious.
