Don't have one yet!
It wasn't that the young witch didn't like exploring the castle, but the mere thought of being cooped up inside for hours on end made Kyndel's skin crawl. "I'll get enough of that once classes are in full swing," she mused aloud to herself as she grabbed a band and tied her hair back before exiting her dorm room. Indiana wasn't anywhere to be found so that left the small Gryffindor on her own for the afternoon. Kyndel lurked around the common room for a few minutes waiting to see if any of her housemates happened to wander in, but as luck would have it no one did. Propping her hand on her hip and tapping her fingers lightly she pondered on what it was she wanted to do. "Outside I go," she said again to herself before exiting Gryffindor house through the portrait hole.

Once she was outside she took a deep breath in. New Zealand winters weren't necessarily freezing to death cold, but they were nice and crisp and Kyndel liked it. It was her favorite season here. The wind blew a few stray hairs around her face and she smoothed both of her hands over hear head trying to tame the wild mop of blonde that was her hair. I think I heard someone mention something about some gardens somewhere she thought as she took off in a random direction, not knowing where she'd end up, but not really caring much as long as she wasn't trapped within the confines of four walls.

Once the small girl reached her destination she smiled. While most gardens would have been sparse this time of year strictly due to the weather, the gardens here were full of magical winter blooms and plants. It was beautiful. She stopped every so often to sniff a few of the blooming flora that was contained within the garden. "This is awesome," she said with a grin out loud to the wind as she tucked another stray hair behind her ear.

The first streams of sunlight poured into the dorm room as the clouds broke and the sun emerged. The person sleeping in the bed right next to one of the windows in the very far corner of the room was suddenly away of how bright it was. He groaned loudly and pulled the covers up above his head. He groaned again, this was not how he wanted to start his morning. He once again had no plans for the day which meant that he disn't have the highest intentions or desires to get out of bed before he needed to. Tybalt Archer found motivation to leave his amazing bed only at the past possible moment. He didn't think there was much point to getting up before he needed to be had no where to to go, since classes had not yet begun he was just wandering around. Doing whatever he could. Doing whatever took his fancy that day. The simplest thoughts of the moment leading him to whatever he had to do. The simple things about working on his reading. Reading the school books were what he spent his time doing. Trying to get on top of what he was meant to be learning when the classes started, but even for the colourblind pre-teen this was even getting a little boring. He wanted to do something more interesting. He wanted to do something that was just more fun, the first thing he had to achieve however was getting out of bed before the middle of the day. Groaning again the boy pushed down the covers and sat up. He felt around on the bedside table and picked up his glasses and slipped them on his eyes. The bright blue eyes blinking repeatedly as his glasses adjusted themselves to the light. Making themselves darker so everything wasn't just pure white. So he could make out what he needed. Tybalt stretched in his bed. Wiggling his toes as he brought his feet up to the rest of his body. He looked around the room. He was pretty excited for the start of classes. He knew he would do well. He was excited for classes. He knew it would be hard, but he also realized that no matter how hard it was he would be okay. The others in his class would have no idea of the amount of work that he would have to do compared to them, just to be able to keep up. He knew he would have to work, which was why he was see once classes began that people were just not going to see him. As his eyes hated the sunlight more and more, he rolled out of bed, and walked slowly over to his wardrobe, lightly placing his feet so he wouldn't wake anyone else. Thankfully, the night before the young boy had already prepared his clothes for the day. It meant he could just grab the clothes and take them with him to the bathroom to get ready.

Once he'd gotten dressed the pre-teen took his glasses off. He put in his contact lenses and then went to find his shoes. He knew that wearing his contacts meant that he found it hard to see in the sunlight. He found it hard to always see everything since the light was great, but it was better than wearing his glasses outside. He prefered his contacts to his glasses, though he wore the glasses a lot more often. With that done, he grabbed his trainers and headed out. He wandered down the many stairs to the outdoors. He didn't spend too much time outside. He was always keen to avoid too much sunlight, but being from Georgia meant that if he was a guy who did like the sun on occasion. He liked the warmth that sun gave, though he didn't tan well and he was pale. Today in New Zealand it wasn't too warm, but just warm enough to not have to be completely wrapped up. He was wearing his usual dark grey jumper on top of the ensemble. He walked away from the castle and headed to the Gardens. He wasn't sure why, since his eye sight wouldn't be great in a garden, but he was happy to. He liked gardens even if he didn't really we it. Even if he couldn't really see the full picture. He was happy to wander around and pretend. There was a lightly wind, moving the short strands of Tybalt dark brown hair into his bright blue eyes. Making him smile as he moved them out the way. It was nice.He sat down on a patch of grass in amongst all the flowers. He lay down and stared up at the sky. He couldn't see a thing, everything was just too bright. Everything was white. But it didn't bother him, instead he just listened for people, creatures and took in the smells and sounds of the world around him. Tybalt wasn't a fan of being blind because of the intense light, but it was just what he needed. And he stayed alert enough to the world around him. It was a nicely peaceful state. He really did like it. And he was sure that it would be difficult for others to understand unless there vision was slightly off. Or so he assumed.
