Love is the strangest thing

I know we've only met once but I felt like we connected- I'd like to meet you again.

Larissa sat in the empty bungalow she was resident to.
She wore a diamond necklace, matching earrings and a bracelet.
A long and pale blue dress was her current outfit. Larissa had her hair straight for once but now it was slightly scruffy as she slept in the old green armchair.

She was awoken by a loud knock.
Larissa stood up quickly, patted down her hair and smoothed out her dress.
She placed the letter she had been holding, onto the coffee table and walked to answer the door.

Grakul had arrived at the time suggested- 3pm.
He waited at the front door after knocking loudly.
Grakul was not dressed smart but not casually.
He had dark jeans and a black shirt on. His hair was gelled up a little at the top and he stank of aftershave.

Finally, Grakul's facial expression became a smile- "Larissa." He said, happy to see her.
He knew they'd only known each other just over a month but..
His hand reached into his pocket; The little black case was still in there.

Larissa welcomed Grakul into her home.
She led him to a couple of glass chairs and a glass table.
Candles floated around the room and rose petals streamed onto the table, only to vanish as they touched it.
She hoped this wasn't too over the top for a first date..
"Please, sit." She said, indicating one of the chairs before heading into the kitchen to prepare the food.

She returned a few minutes later with a nicely cooked and plump bird of some kind, goblin made wine and a side salad. "I hope it's ok," Larissa said as she lay the plate of food on the center of the table.
"Accio two white plates." she said. Larissa caught them neatly as they spun out of the kitchen and to where she stood.
She placed one in front of Grakul and one where she was to sit.
Larissa sat down. "Dig in." She smiled, before starting on her food.
