Lost...

"I've been here since November. My dad was really serious aboutme going to hogwarts." Shaylah laughed when Skyle said she was still getting lost. "My brain is like a map. I remember areas really well when I walk through them."
 
"Your so lucky, I bet I could get lost in my own bathroom if I tried hard enouf (sp). Skyle laughed a bit harder.
 
Shaylah carried on laughing at Skyle. "I get it from my dad. I can't really say I get anything from my mum 'cause I don't know much about her."
 
"Me ether, she was murdered a couple years back," Skyle sighed. "It's okay okay the witch who did it is locked up now."Her voice shacked at the but she said witch for lack of better words. She didn't like to think of her mom or her ex lover.
 
"My mum walked out on my dad when I was just a few weeks old." Shaylah said upset. "I've only ever had my dad around and he always has to go out on business trips and stuff so I end up home alone most of the time."
 
Skyle worried looked at Shaylah. She put her hand on her shoulder, "I'm sorry I think I kind of know how you feel. The pain is horrible. First I saw my mother killed right in front of me, with nothing I could do and then on top of that my dad hated me for it and blame me. He went mad and is currently in the hospital, simply sending me to Angela's with almost nothing." She was trembling know she hadn't told anyone besides Angela what had happened. She felt a tear roll down her cheek. "I'm sorry." She muttered sinking down to the ground.
 
Shaylah put her hand on Skyle's shoulder. "That must have been tough. I only really spent 10 years in Scotland with no mum and a dad who's always on business trips and no friends except my pets. Compared to what you've been through that's nothing."
 
"Still It's not fair that we both had to go through this." She frowned. "We shouldn't have to."
 
"It's alright for me now. Since I moved to New Zealand I've made a load of new friends so I don't feel so lonely anymore. Pus most the time I completely forget about my mum and just enjoy myself." Shaylah smiled. "Really. Just try and find a way to get everything off your mind and it feels loads better."
 
"Yeah I try, I've never told anyone besides you and Angela." She smiled. "I'm just not as popular as Angela yet."
 
"I've never told anyone about my time in Scotland." Shaylah smiled back at Skyle. "I don't see how your not popular. You seem perfectly nice to me."
 
"Thanks, I guess I'm doing better here I only have one friend in Japan." Skyle cheered up when she thought of Bunnie her old neighbor back home.
 
"Same. I've made quite a few mates here." Shaylah smiled.
 
"Everyone here is just so nice." She smiled "Would you like to walk around with me, if we find my house you can meet me and Angela's aunt Sarah." She said with a larger smile with a pleading look in her eyes.
 
Shaylah smiled. "Not everyone is nice. A girl started moaning at me and being a complete freek just because I had a bit of mud on me." Shaylah grinned at Skyle. "Yeah, sure. I'd love to."
 
"Oh really, I did meet this one girl too." She trailed off when Shaylah said she wuld go she jumped up in a flash, "Oh thank you so much," She hugged her lightly "Let's go." She said with the biggest smile in a long time.
 
Skyle hugged her so she hugged back. When Skyle said "lets go" Shaylah followed her and said "Where do you live, then??"
 
"Like I said I get lost easy, but I live at the Marion Estates, And I think I came from that way." Skyle said pointing to the right "Or maybe that way." She said crossing her other arm across to the left. She sighed "I'm not sure."
 
Shaylah laughed. "If I get you to Osidian Harbor will you know the way from there??"
 
"Yes, there's a large clearing in Obsidian Harbor where Angela and I do gymnastics. There's a short cut through the woods strait to our house!" She was so happy and hyper and on top of that she made a friend who was coming home with her. She stepped behind Shaylah "Lead the way." She said practically bouncing.
 
Shaylah lead Skyle to Obsidian Harbor. She was so happy. She had never been to someone else's house befor. She'd had Angela over to her house but never the other way round.
"So what's your aunt like??"
 
"She's a grown up kid basically, you'll love her i promise." She smiled this was her first friend she had brought home. She had went over to Darian's but that was differnt. Skyle continued walking getting closer to the clearing.
 
Laughing Shaylah replied "My dad can be a bit of a kid when he's around me but the rest of the time he's all strict and boring."
 
"Well Aunt Sarah really is a kid she even dresses like one sometimes, and it dosn't help she's only about 5' tall." She laughed "I don't like strict parent's like my dad, He used to be fun now he's just mean." She smiled "But I'm sure your dad's not like that."
 
Shaylah laughed more. "My dad's a big cuddly bear with me. When he isn't a cuddly bear he just takes the mik out of me. So I repay the favor."
