It had been about three weeks since Jackson had returned from Texas, where he was practicing and working for an old family friend who was also a healer. He needed distance from everything that happened in his life. The scars in his heart were slowly healing, but he feared they would be torn again, and Jackson had promised to stop them. So returning to New Zealand and giving everything back to work, which helped to forget everything around him and sink into work so that there would be no time to think about his problems.

He replaced his sick colleague, who asked to be replaced. It wasn't hard for Jackson to do that. Today, he was in the department of Magical Maladies and Injuries, which was once another practice to learn healing from all sides and later opening his private practice, Jackson could help all his patients. He just prescribed medication and released the fifth patient. There were a couple more patients behind the door. Until the patient left, Jackson asked the nurse to invite the next patient inside.

Abilene had been practicing all day everyday lately. She has been away from Quidditch for two years and hasn't had a proper training. Although, it was a good two year break. But the bruised up face and arms needed her attention. Getting hit by a bludger often was enough for some bloody nose. Abilene immediately apparated to St. Mungo's for some fix me up and she up before she knew it.

Her name was called. The woman entered the exam room only to see the person she hadn't seen for a long time.
"Jackson?" She was trying to hold her head as the blood on her nose was oozing and was making a mess. "Um, nice meeting you here." It was awkward but what could she do, she was here to be treated with medicine.

Jackson wrote down the last notes about the previous patient on the card, then put it aside and made sure everything was really in order and nothing was confused. Prepare for the next patient to enter the office that will be called inside.

He heard a voice that had not been heard for a long time and saw a man he had not seen for a long time. ''Yes. Abilene, are you really?'' He said in a surprised voice, then pointed to the chair so she could sit down. To see her nose, but it could be said immediately after the amount of blood the woman's nose was broken. Jackson cleared the blood from her face. ''I am also glad to meet you. Tell me how to break your nose?'' He asked, gently wiping the blood from the woman’s face.
