Amelia was in the common room when someone entered. She smiled at the new face, only half-taking her in. She wasn't really very interested in other people, unless they did something special. "Hi. Im Amy." She said, nodding to show she had accepted the greeting. Turning back to her wand, she pointed it back at a book sitting on the other side of the room and silently thought the incantation to make it hover. She moved it around the room a few times before placing it down on the other side. Her magic was improving and especially her silent spells that they had only just been taught.
