Speed sat quietly in his seat, his back straight, his hands in his lap. He had never been to a graduation before, so this was quite fascinating, there were so many people here in one room, to reminded him of a giant sale at Myers. Being home-schooled meant that he was not used to so many students, this also meant that he had no idea how to react in a graduation setting, he would have asked Cameron, but he snuck out of the house without telling anyone where he was going, he knew if Cam had seen him, he would have thrown him back inside his room for 'sneaking out', even though it was broad daylight and Speed was eighteen, he was still tried like he was five. He was not sure why he was treated in such a way, it was probably Stephanie's doing, but right now was not the time to think about his treatment, it was Mickki Mouse's big day, she was gradutating! It was simply amazing, in all honesty, Speed thought she was going to buckle under the pressure of school, since she used to be home-schooled as well. BUt no, she had proven his inner fears wrong and was now standing tall, ready to get her diploma, she looked so happy. Her smile was bright and it made Speed smile too, he had never seen her smile so brightly in her life, that was when he realised that he was crying slightly from happiness, he shrugged, he always was a little dramatic, why would now be any different?
Speed stood up and cheered happily when Mikayla had her diploma in her hands, but he soon blushed when he realised that no-one else was cheering for her, so basically, he was the only person standing, waving his arms and hooting like a maniac, he laughed nervously and sat down quietly, obviously that was not the norm for spectators at a graduation. He didn't know why, he thought that everyone should be cheering on the students, they should be allowing tears to streak down their happy faces, and who didn't like cheering? It was just ridiculous. When everyone else got their diplomas, Speed jumped off his seat and bolted to Mikayla, dodging other people carefully, and when he stood in front of her, he beamed proudly. "I am so proud!" He exclaimed, ignoring annoyed looks from other people. He pulled Mikayla into a big bear-hug and sniffled slightly, trying to stop himself from starting to cry again, he didn't want his face to get red and blotchy, that would just be disgusting. "How do you feel Miss I've Graduated?" He asked, releasing her and putting his hands on his hips, still beaming as if her graduation was all his doing, which was kind of true, since he had helped keep her sane and happy.
