Long Time

Emilie wandered through the Forbidden Forest, it had been a long time since she had been there, so she had decided to enjoy the summer weather and go for a walk. It was around four o'clock, so sun was still shining through the tall trees, reaching through any gap it could find. The year had been fairly boring so far, she had done barely any pranks, and it had seemed like forever since she had talked to any of her friends. She had also gotten into an argument with a boy, and it had make her question herself as well. It was a little confusing. She walked over to a large tree, putting her arm on its bark surface, feeling it with her fingers. She grabbed a branch and swung herself up the tree, sitting on a branch, dangling her legs below.

Alexis stumbled about, lost in the forest. She knew it had been a bad idea, she just had a feeling. Luckily it was bright, so she had some time to find her way out.
On a stroke of luck, she saw a girl her age climbing a tree. She didn't want to miss her chance.
'Help!' She yelled, as she was quite far away. She was dehydrated, and her legs collapsed under her weight.
'Hello!' Her voice was hoarse, and she would have been surprised if the girl could hear her. I have to get closer, she thought to herself. She kicked herself for being so stupid. Now she knew why it was the 'Forbidden' Forest. Awkwardly, she climbed onto her knees, attempting to drap herself along. It was no use, so she called once more in the desperate hope that the girl would hear.

Emilie had just taken a seat on a branch, when she heard someone yell out for help, it was so quiet in the forest, so she could her it. She spun around to where the sound was coming from, grabbing branches to keep her stable. She spotted a girl fall to the ground, and with no second thoughts, jumped off the branch, and jogged towards her. She heard her say hello, and she crawled along the ground, Emi wondered if she had seen her yet.

"Are you okay?" Emi asked, wondering what she could do to help, and kneeling down, so that the girl didn't have to look upwards to see her. She was sure she had seen her around in some of her second year classes. "What's wrong?" she then asked.
