🌹 Rose Giving Long Time Familiarity

Ryan's last rose was another familiar face and he was confident he could avoid going back downstairs if he waited on the seventh floor long enough. Emma was sure to head her common room or even Heta Omega at some point, and Ryan could relax a little until then. He'd gotten distracted watching a spider that had set up shop above a nearby tapestry that he nearly missed her when she finally did come past, her red hair catching Ryan's attention just in time before she slipped somewhere he couldn't get to. "Emma, wait, rose," he managed, stepping after her.

Emma had been on her way to the common room, when someone called her name. She came to a halt, turning to see Nicole's little brother. She wondered what he wanted, but then realized he said he had a rose for her. "Oh, hey Ryan." She said with a grin as she headed over to him. "Thanks!"

Ryan was torn between wishing all his deliveries were this easy and wishing they were a bit trickier to at least make today interesting. He nodded hello to Emma before passing over the rose, already mentally trying to recall who he had to go find next as she took it.

Emma smiled as she took the rose from Ryan, quietly thinking he really was rather weird. Nicole wasn't always very kind when she talked about him, but Emma could kind of understand. She read the note and laughed softly. "Hey, it's from your sister." She said, showing it to him.

Ryan frowned when Emma revealed the note was from Nicole, scrunching up his face. First her boyfriend, now her best friend. "Don't get why she didn't deliver it herself," he muttered. Maybe this was why Nicole had made him sign up, she just missed telling him what to do all the time. Ryan had appreciated it when they were younger but he'd stopped listening the past few year sand he was sure it bothered her.

Emma laughed softly. "That kind of defeats the purpose of this all." She said, shrugging slightly. "Good luck with the rest! Did you get any?" She asked, wondering if Ryan had someone he liked or who liked him. Even weird kids had to have crushes, right?
