Athene sat cross legged in the chair, with her head in her arms on the novel open on the table. Her hair was loose, once again, because she hadn't bothered to tie it up. Through the thin blank strands she stared without seeing at the other students in the library. All in groups, studying together, or playing chess, or whispering. 'Friends.'</COLOR><COLOR color="green"> She shifted uncomfortably at the thought.
It had been a long day. Not physically, but emotionally. It was something about being alone all the time, about only having herself for company. She was always trapped in her own mind, thinking about everything. She didn't think that it was very healthy, but what could she do? She sighed and sat up. She'd been in the library over an hour, but the book was still open on page one.
