Aonghas had found his time fairly empty, without quidditch he didn’t have a whole lot to do with his team. It was fairly evident that without the quidditch he had a lot more free time. He knew he could spend the time studying, but Aonghas didn’t think he needed to. He had so much time before the exams, and he didn’t need to be focusing on that. However, without much more to do, he had started just defaulting to doing that work. The quidditch game had been the day before and the mood within Hufflepuff had been pretty stifling, he felt bad for Elliot - the seeker who’d got hurt - and generally he’d felt bad for not being on the team, as if he’d suddenly have helped them win just by still being on the team. Aonghas had headed out of the dorm room and down to the lakefront. There was a little sunshine and it was quite nice. It wasn’t too warm, but it was no longer bitingly cold. Aonghas put down his robes and with his charms books, from the 1st to 4th year and began just practicing some of the spells. It wasn’t really studying but it was a little. It was something to fill the hours of that day.

Lauren didn't really knew why Aonghas suddenly decided not to play Quidditch anymore. He seemed not interested and asked herself if it was because of what she had told him, had that changed him? She needed to speak to her best friend, the closest person that she tried to trust. She was walking outside and had been looking for Aonghas and there she spotted him. She had been asking people where he was. But the blonde herself liked being outside as well. Inside she needed to catch her breath between the walls. He was practicing it seemed or something and Lauren got closer. '' Aonghas? What are you doing?'' She than asked him and went sitting on the ground. Was he really studying? '' Trying to impress the professors?'' The blonde than asked with an small grin.

The feeling of pointlessness that he‘d felt ever since coming back to school didn’t even help it, nor did working on spells, but he had to at least be trying to studying. But it wasn’t working very well, and he was just practicing weak charms and weak spells in general. He looked up as a friendly voice approached him. He couldn’t help but glance over her as he seemed to always do whenever he saw her, he knew it was too late in the semester for anything to happen, but he couldn’t help it. ”Practicing,” He shrugged at her, and laughed, ”Ah dinnae need tae, really, but ah...dunno,” he sighed slightly and shrugged, giving her a little smile as he said it. It wasn’t like she would get it much, but he knew that what she didn’t get, ”If ye were part ae ma family ye wouldnae need tae either, you know?” Aonghas said with a little smile.

Lauren was glad to run into Aonghas, actually finding him. She believed he kept his word with telling nobody because otherwise she would know by now she figured. He gave an strange answer so she put her shoulders up. '' Why do you practice than?'' The blonde knew that he could have all he wanted, but it seemed like he was a bit down as well lately. Lauren hoped it wasn't because what she had told him, an hard burden to carry. '' But I'm not. Everything I do is wrong.'' Lauren than said, kind of suprised she was so open. It felt still strange of talking about her parents to Aonghas. '' Why are you not playing Quidditch anymore?'' Lauren than asked. She knew Aonghas as the only person in the team, she tried to open up to the rest making a bit of contact but it was nicer to have Aonghas someone she knew and trusted with her.

Aonghas shrugged lightly at the question, ’Somethin’ tae dae,” he replied. He knew that Lauren’s problems were on a different level that his own, that he felt bad ever complaining to her because of them but Aonghas also did just practice like he was because it passed the time. Quidditch was the same. He was just biding his time until he was of age, with katia and able to take control of his family like he was supposed to. Waiting around for NEWTs was pointless. Coming to school had been pointless. The boy shook his head at Lauren, ”Ah really doubt that everythin’ ye dae is wrong.” he told her with a shrug, he would’ve gone on to say more about how she could be a part of his family if she wanted to when she asked about quidditch. He gave a little shrug, ”It made sense,” he said, ”Ah’m no gonnae use it, so ahm taking up a spot on the team that someone else coulda had,” Aonghas said, ”Ah just decided it wis time tae stop lyin’ tae maself and holding on tae childish ‘hings like quidditch,” he told her with an honest tone.
