James was on his way to the Quidditch pitch, he was running a bit late to the Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw match and knew that he needed to hurry up if he wanted to be able to see Kiera fly. He knew that he wanted to play Quidditch and that he would hate not being able to join the match, however he also wanted to show his support for Kiera and the rest of Gryffindor. James was wearing a sweater and a pair of blue jeans as he walked down to the entrance hall. James had only seen Kiera fly a few times but knew that she was good at it. James began walking a bit faster so that he wouldn't end up falling too hard behind in the game.

Professor Burke was walking down to the Pitch to see her daughter play. She knew Kiera probably didn't want her to be there but she was going to go anyways. She was taking a bit longer than usual because she was pregnat. While she was not yet showing, she wanted to be careful. Jacqueline was walking at a typical speed when a boy rushed around her. She didn't see his face but she wanted to warn him that that was not okay. "You there." she called out to him. "Excuse me but where do you think you are going in such a hurry?" she asked him, her voice icy.

James turned around to see one of the prettier professors speak to him in a tone that said she did not like him, though James wasn't sure why she wouldn't like him as he looked at her. "I was heading to the Quidditch match Professor" James said politely as he kinda fidgeted knowing that he was late and was only going to be getting later by the second. "I'm a bit late so if you don't mind I would like to be on my way" James said a bit quickly as he added "Professor". James wasn't sure if the Professor had a reason for stopping him and he was sure that he didn't want to give her any as he thought about just heading out before she might say something to him.

Professor Burke listened as the boy told her he was heading out to the Quidditch pitch to see the game. This interested Jacqueline. She narrowed her eyes at the boy. Her brain clicked as she realized who this boy was. James Potter she guessed from his age. Professor Burke smirked at him. "Ah yes. Potter," she said with obvious distaste. "Why are you in such a hurry to get to that match?" she asked him, curious. "I, too, am heading down to the pitch. My daughter plays for your team." she said, judging by his Gryffindor sweater.

"That's Brilliant!" James said a bit jumpily as the Professor spoke, "Then you must be in a hurry as much as I am, you know so we don't miss the entire game, Professor!" James said a bit matter of factly knowing that a Quidditch match was definately possible to end quickly. James had to wonder if this Professor was going to hold him up much longer as he was having this guy feeling that by the time he made it to the pitch everyone else would be leaving. James really hoped that wouldn't be the case as he continued slightly edging his way towards the exit hoping against hope that she would let him go without anymore grief. He had after all done nothing wrong. At least nothing that would get him into trouble with a Professor.

Professor Burke was annoyed by this boy's jumpity attitude. He acted as though he just wanted to blow her off. He had to have some other motive for why he was practically running to a game that he couldn't play in. That had to be hard for famous Potter who played Professional Quidditch. Professor Burke did not care for him one bit. After all he was a Potter. She smirked at the boy. "While I am in a hurry, it is rude to rush past a Professor as you did. Tell me, why you are in a hurry? A special someone to see?" she said coldly. Jacqueline was doing everything in her power to make it very uncomfortable for him. She wanted to delay him even if it missed seeing Kiera play. Kiera didn't want her there anyways. Jacqueline smirked at the boy as she waited for his answer.
